She was a very highly rated player in her own right too.

Being the same age as Kobe and having played basketball and being a big fan to this day, I've so much respect for everything he achieved, his loyalty to the Lakers and having played through such pain in his latter years. So sad. RIP

Someone asked at work who he was and i had to explain how he and Shaq helped revive the Lakers flagging fortunes. Then after Shaq left, he did it again.

I can always remember watching the '97 all star game on tv when he won the slam dunk contest.

Basketball is a second rate sport in this country though so 99% wouldn't know who he was .

Anyone watch college basketball ?

I used to watch every NBA game before the quarantine but I can't do it now unfortunately. Moreover I often check xscores football results
and some other live sport results to be informed about todays sport life. Waiting so much for NBA to come back

Release date pushed forward to this month (from June).

Just watching the trailer gives me goosebumps, as I grew up with the 90s Bulls.

I think we may be able to watch it on Netflix in the UK; I’m not sure as I’m not a subscriber. I hope so.

Blazers fan here, too.

We have nothing defensively to stop the Lakers, just hope Dame and Cj can out shoot them. Rip City!

Great win there, and shock with the Bucks.

I’m more of a general NBA fan then follow a specific team, but I would like to see Blazers vs Raptors / Heat in the Final (Blazers in 7)

Tough task vs the Lakers though but I’m rooting for them.

105 three-pointers in a row? I don’t think I have ever made more than six in a row!

Outrageous!

Its been great for sure, Suns and Hawks would be a great final!

Barkley is easily one of the best pundits out there - across any sport!

I think it'll be clippers v hawks final .

Miwaukee played like st there last game , they looked like they just thought they'd coast along and beat the inexperienced hawks especially as hawks were without trae young.

Of course what happened was Hawks were well up for it , 6 players in double figures and then to cap off a st game for the bucks , antetokounmpo get's injured .

How are you all managing to view the games ?

Fingers crossed hawks get young back quick as bucks only need to win the next game and there thru.

Must say when Trae Young first came into the league, I thought he’s a cocky little S who shot too much, and a Curry wannabe. But his game has improved so much; he’s the real deal (and playing under the right system that’s helped him blossom).

Great character too, a superstar in the making (I’d argue he’s already there!). Hope it goes seven games.

Loving the ‘small market teams’ doing so well.

Go Suns!

So many big names are out injured that smaller teams are doing well and new younger players are getting decent court time and really performing.

Just look how many of highest scoring players per game have come from just this year.
