LOVE watching Judd Trump... Breath of fresh air for the game imo.
The kid has no fear, will take on any pot and usually tuck it away. Sort of like the lovechild of Alex Higgins and Ronnie O'Sullivan without the madness.

Also, he has the best name in British sport since Jenson Button.
Just what the game needs, a genuinely exciting new talent without personality issues. (dodgy haircut, though).

For me it would be a Judd-Williams final, can't stand Higgins I'm afraid.

Amazing clearance by Ding to take the last frame before the mid session interval.

Hell of a clearance alright, great game. I really hope the winner of the tournament comes from this semi-final.

Well played Judd.

And it looks like John 'credit to the game/the family man/been through so much' Higgins is going to join him in the final. 15-13 up now.

I`ve never been a fan of Williams, but I hope he beats Higgins. Cheats shouldnt prosper.

Disappointed that Higgins' title chances remain alive. I hope Judd Trump hammers him, although I don't think it will be the case.

Higgins is a disgrace to the sport, and the fact he is still playing is a travesty.

How come he has never sued the pants off the NOW for the story?

John Higgins is strong favourite to lift the trophy on Monday which will be a disgrace given what he did 12 months ago. Caught on camera openly willing to throw frames from £s yet he's only given a token ban. Quinten Hann did the very same thing not too long ago and was banned by World Snooker for 6 years.

I don't think it will happen but I hope trump hammers the greedy, corrupt, 'wizard of wishaw'.

But his daddy is dead, think of all he has come through. rolleyes

Never really warmed to John Higgins, his antics over the last year have sealed it for me.

Come on Judd Trump!!

I totally agree.
Plus Judd is a local lad.
The snooker hall he used to play in is just up the road from me.

John Virgo wouldn't applaud Ted Lowe. Bit strange.

As for the final, I think the last thing the sports needs is Higgins winning it so soon after his dishonesty came to light.

I`m not watching it yet, what reason did Virgo give for not applauding. Lovely gesture by the crowd, much more appropriate than a minutes silence.
