For the people that play, is there a particular reason why they switch to 18 or 17's?

I get the switching from 20 to 19 especially if the treble 20 bed is blocked. Any reason why you would go for 18 or 17?

Brilliant final last night, loved the PL darts this season.
Watched most of them. Great Thursday night TV.

They all set up their finishes from a long way back (300+), and will know exactly what to aim for when setting up an out. The 132 upthread is a good example.

He was a bit fortunate,Peter Wright outscored him heavily yet still lost, looked rusty early on, that's what happens if you take a fortnights holiday and don't practice I guess smile
