Murray bowing out after a rather disjointed display against Dimitrov. He seemed to by struggling physically, not sure if he’s carrying that groin strain, but not really able to mount a proper challenge. Dimitrov was decent to be fair.
Murray seems to struggle to put away points. His defence is great and he can grind opponents down but he doesn’t seem to have the power anymore to finish points off.

A lesson in not being cocky for the Spanish youngster there, totally out thought in that match.

As soon as he started to showboat and spin his racket around his head in the first set mid way through, like he had this match easily, i knew he was toast. coffee

I wouldn't bank on it, Medvedev beat him last time they met in the 2021 US Open Final.
He was playing great tennis today.

I can't think of a less cocky top tennis player on tour. He is super humble.

I don't know what you mean by showboating and spin his racket. Do you mean his follow through?

I don't disagree with you. I am simply surprised by your assertion that one of the most humble players around would showboat and even more surprised about the "spinning the racquet around his head" thing (which sounds very much like his follow through). Was he doing that between points or during points or between games? I didn't notice it but you might be right? Basically what do you mean? Tell me more, that we will save watching the first set again ;-).

I'm buggered if I'm going to watch it again myself to give you a time stamp.

You don't need to. Just tell me what you mean, as politely asked above.
Surely you have seen the showboating so it shouldn't be tricky to clarify what you mean about the spinning racquet.

I'm surprised neither of you are watching the Women's singles final, it's a great match!

This trophy presentation is embarrassing, so many speeches and dragged out interviews. Just ask her a couple of questions and move on...

I think Wimbledon does it so much better; roll out a bit of carpet, thank the ball boy and girls, Kate hands over the trophies and the jobs done.

Less than one hour to go before the US Open final. Expecting Medvedev to give Novak some tough time in this one but I don't see the Russian winning this one.

Close and long game so far.

Medvedev should have won that second set, Djokovic is really struggling in his service games.

Oldest winner in the Open era and equalling the record for number of slams at a time when 2 other players have shared 42.

The GOAT.

Reckons he's got atleast 1 more for the outright record.
