Crolla I think, even though the two fights with Linares may have taken a bit out of him. Burns has enjoyed something of an Indian summer in his career (which I was very happy to see) but I think the stars aligned to an extent for him to pick up his third world title, and with him coming down in weight as well, I'd say it's Crolla's to lose.
Agreed. Crolla still more than durable enough, but don't see it as a walkover. Good fight though.

I know maybe age has something to do with it but when you fight at 140lbs, inbetween, what would you walk around at?

Really depends on the individual. Mayweather probably didn't have to shift much at all to get down to fighting weight when he was at Welterweight (okay, that's 147lbs but you get the idea); Ricky Hatton, on the other hand, would reportedly be shifting around 3 stone to make weight...primarily because he liked an ale or two and the odd pie when he wasn't in training.

Duran gets a pass for (allegedly) knocking out a horse.

Ok ...talking of passes, add Jeff fenech to the list as he knocked out an 18stone bouncer who wouldn't let him in (pass) & he used to get a bit heavy to...Good old Jefff Fenech & Duran 2 of the best warriors ...

well....now that the sparring footage has been released it looks like mcgregor was telling the trutheek

although all the mitigating circumstances for paulie must be taken into account...(turning up fat etc.)....we aren't dealing with the malignaggi that gave a heroic stand against cotto but the one that got stopped and cleaned out by sam eggington......even so!...he was getting tagged hard and often there!...pretty shocked tbh!!

...but no, i still won't be paying to watch itlaugh

There still seems to be a lot of talk about Loma vs Rigo, but my fear is they weren't able to make the fight when they were only one division apart, so making it now there's an 8lb difference between them seems a long shot...but who knows? I think the Garcia fight would be fantastic but I wonder if they may be eyeing the winner of Crawford-Indongo for the full set of belts at Light-Welter instead...

yeah, it's more hope than expectation that we see him in with rigo....i suppose with the garcia fight it won't be a drag if it were needed for him to come back down to lightweight then get loma to go up one division but i reckon it's a bit brave for loma to want to leapfrog lightweight totally to fight crawford or indongo up at light welter....10lb when these guys are so light to begin with would be collosal....especially against crawford who i think should win comfortably against indongo.....

I don't think you could ever refer to a former two weight champion as a bum. A retired and out of shape fighter, yes. A bum? No, most certainly not.

I still think that this is all part of the hype campaign to lead people into thinking that McGregor has a chance.

Have to laugh at the footage of McGregor prancing around the bag! All it shows is that if the bag had just one arm, McGregor would be geting his face jabbed every 3 seconds.

No, I meant Garcia's team eyeing Crawford/Indongo...bearing in mind his last fight with Broner was at 140lbs.

defo pal....this whole humble routine from floyd as well......it has all happened at just the right time , what with the ticket sales being slow and general interest not being as hyper as they'd all expected....

i love paulie but he is so shot to absolute st looking in that clip isn't he !!? i've never seen him so static

ahhhh!!....with you pal, i was a bit distracted earlier!....yeah, that would all make a lot more sense although loma has gone on record before saying that he wants to go up and tangle with crawford ...although i think this was said a while back when crawford was still down at lightweight...

garcia / crawford would be fking epic!!!

he is a hammy fker isn't he??laugh

tell you one thing though....those straight lefts down the pipe WITHOUT ANY LATERAL MOVEMENT may be landing on pauli but they will be hitting thin air against mayweather even if floyd was 50!

On the bag he has a peculiar way of using his right hand to tee the bag up; repeatedly tapping it with the back of his glove. Unless Mayweather walks onto an islolated left like Aldo did, McGregor isn't going to get many big lefts onto him.
