It's just a Photoshop. confused
So what, it's brilliant isn't it?
Err. No.
Reminds me of the Paul Hogan 'Americas Cup' Oz tourist advert. Faith to say the cup should have a passport, its taken up residency there....
It's been in Auckland a fair while now mate laugh
....I was talking about this man...and was referencing the RWC residency in SA. From a while ago the Paul Hogan advert but I remember it well, it reminded me of the SA passport wind up...

Ticket resales
Morning all
I sold some of the tickets I couldn’t use via the official resale platform. On the site they said I would receive payment within 60 days, that didn’t happen.
I complained, they said 60 days was the normal period but the T&C’s state 90 days. It been over 90 days. No payment the RWC are hold nearly 2K of my groups money.
Shocking behaviour, possibly illegal?
Anyone else had the same issue?

That's more that a bit rubbish isn't it?

At this rate you'll be doing a charge back on your credit cards.

It’s pretty stty but the whole tournament admin has been typically French* right from the first round of ticket sales a couple of years ago. Sometimes infuriatingly inept; sometimes oddly indifferent; yet sometimes wonderfully welcoming and efficient. I’ll give them a couple of weeks and then start getting stuck in.

*I was called a racist for saying this on another website, but I love them really.

Has anyone mentioned the TV treatment of TMO decisions during the WC yet. The ref would go to TMO then the director cut to the offending team and the ref all watching an out of shot screen showing the infringement.

Why not show us the infringement?

Also rock / pop music during the games can get lost.

It appears to be just as efficient over on the Le Mans tickets thread. Apparently they went on sale to ACO members this morning. Or not, as it turns out.

Glad I've been with my ticket agent for 20years.

Don't blame the French for the tickets. I had my refunds from UEFA for Euro2016 remarkable quickly. Too quickly really as I had Wales tickets for the final and the refund was so quick the wound was still to heal!

TV coverage has been poor. Showing replays at the wrong times, poorly focused shots, shots at obscure angles...

It does show just how good BBC are at this sort of stuff of you look at the 2015 tournament or the 2012 Olympics, for example.

French broadcasters should be able to do as well.

French coverage has always been very French. Slow mo of faces being pulled etc misty eyed pictures but no benefit in showing or understanding the game.

Just been reading this;

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/67349016

Very sad to see in any sport be especially rugby where it is generally played in great spirits. Is this another downside of professionalism? Personally I wold like to see the end of tv reffing as it will only make it worse. I would retain try line stuff, was it a try or not and that is it. Not sure how a pitch ref is suppose to manage a game when people in his ear the whole time reffing from a tv.

I've always really liked Wayne Barnes as a ref and as a person, sorry he has left the game in such a way, he should have been given a great send off, not like this.

The threats and abuse Barnes has received is appalling. Even more so when one considers that the red card decision wasn't made by him. The people responsible are clearly morons.

Just a heads up. I’ve now received full payment on the resale tickets with notification emails also.
