Well Wales used their get out of jail free card there!! Vahamahina has got form though, he's been pinged quite a few times (indeed iirc he's been carded numerous times too). France made sure that it was an interesting game hehe

On the basis of Wales' last few matches I don't hold out much hope

As I said... but how was that card yellow instead of red?
Indeed - lucky boy

poor shout from JP to be honest. The card was a no-brainer but there were a couple of other questionable moments (and not just in the W/Fr match)

Have to be honest I'm a big fan of Lawes, seems to bring a real edge to the game.

As an aside has anyone been awarded more caps out of position than Daly? Again I do like him but I'm, still, not convinced that he should be our 1st choice 15 - put him at 14 (swap with Watson) or even centre (which is his 'natural' place) instead of Slade

Yeah - he's shown some weakness in defence (I thought he was fast but got stood up and skinned too easily by Koroibete), but he's great in attack and has good hands and attacking awareness, and a big boot for conversions, so far unused this world cup.

Nobody's mentioned it, but its good to see Mark Wilson on the bench covering No8. He is a real talent.
thing is that Daly has got some wheels (as the Welsh know all too well hehe) - Koroibete must have jet heels to skin him so (seemingly) easily!

Oh and Mark Wilson is quality

I imagine there'll be at least 2 hours of utterly tedious impenetrable punditry and build up before the Kiwis thump us by a record margin.

I'm still sulking because I'm flying to the Med at the exact time the game is in play.
I feel your pain. Someone who shall remain nameless but rhymes with Mrs I-oc booked me a pilates class at 9am tomorrow morning "oh, I thought that the class was a little empty!" <grrr> Oh well, at least I can record it rofl

Why would you want to record a pilates class when the rugby's onrofl?

bloody hell, what a match! England were, to a man, immense. Lawes was an absolute monster whilst he was on, the kamikaze twins were amazing - again (I'm curious to see if TC's twin makes it to England). In fact it's hard to see any average, let alone poor, England performances.

There are areas to tighten-up on, couple of errors cost us points but over-all it puts us in a good place for next week.

I feel dirty for saying this next bit but (for first time ever I think!) - COME ON WALES!!!!

for a guy who looks (relatively) small Curry really seems to make some serious dents even when he's tackled.

Anywhere to get a full match replay? Can only see highlights later on.
If you can spoof the geo location e.g. via VPN, Rai Due in Italy - https://www.raiplay.it/raiplay/video/2019/10/rugby... .

But you'll have to subscribe to Rai (free)
I managed to watch 'catch-up' (full match plus before/after commentary) on ITV app whilst on holiday in Turkey.

A little cruel but still made me chuckle...

Probably on ITV Hub but it is an absolute cack handed bit of App, I don't bother with it.
Not available now (or yet).
if my experience on holiday is anything to go by I think there's a delay on it - try again just after the highlights prog?

Interesting that TMO is the same guy who ruled out the Sinckler ‘try’ in last Autumn’s match against the ABs

Now I am all for a fair game. The crossing was obvious and for sure a good call. But the fwd pass in the ruck is a bullst call.

Overa it wasn’t terrible from the officials and god knows it’s a hard job in rugby, but I thought the fwd passes were let go in open play, so why not the ruck?
you mean Underhill's try?

Which one, that’s three that guy has disallowed. Over two matches
lol - suspect that the next time SU sees that that's the TMO he'll tell EJ not to play him! hehe

Well he was spot on with both today.
got to disagree there chap. The first one was clear, albeit marginal, the second was very marginal - albeit the TMO seemed to look at it for a fraction of a second (certainly way less time than the for more obvious first).

Anywho - it was still a cracking match

I have to say that that semi was one of the dullest matches I've seen in a while (TBF it didn't help that yesterday's match was so action filled). As has been mentioned on here a kicking game where the kicking was st, Faf was picking up on lack of kicking control, Pollard wasn't a huge amount better nor was Biggar. I think I'm right in saying the first opportunity for a try came on, roughly, the hour mark - WTaF??? I'd have to say that neither side deserved to win.
