Lightning why you want rid of whelan and warnock is it because they spoke the truth unlike west ham did when registering the players you have been lucky if it hadn't been for a soft FA and a pathetic united performance you'd be down where you should be for cheating.

Warnock just speaks rubbish,10 mins after they get relegated he was having a go at man utd for playing a weak team...Did not look that weak to me when I was watching..As for Dave Whealan who he is everybody will be saying cause you will not hear another word from him and the gang of four taking the premiership to court will be just 2 sheff utd and Al fayed who as nothing else better to do than sit in the law courts..
Up the hammers....

Colonel before a ball was kicked today all four prem chairman agreed to stick together regardless of the outcome for whoever went down. I can see it from your side as hammers fans but how would you feel if other way round. Way i see it the FA are the ones who should now answer in court west ham got the punishment albeit lenient but it's been done now it's the FA who are at fault here for being gutless. As for man ure i'm sure had they needed to win for the title you would of got thumped there today.

Phew, what a day - thought Man put a good side out and to be honest, when he made the 3 subs, it could have gone to them, but we put in the sort of performance we should have been doing all season and then it wouldnt have mattered if we had been docked points, we would have been well out of it anyway!

No one seems to be mentioning that Fulham only got out of it by the skin of their teeth after Liverpool fielded a much changed side.

Anyway, I was disappointed Sheff U went down, they are my second team after living is Sheffield in the early 80's and whilst I dont like Warnock, its a shame, I know lots of Blades and they have my sypathy. Interesting what Jewell said after the match - I reckon he will be gone next year, fed up with low crowds home and away and the constant battle against the drop by the sounds of it! Could be the next Leeds!

Of course, knowing West Ham, we will be back in it next year and probably go down, but for today, 18 points from Man U, Blackburn and Arsenal this season is enough for me!!!

Bubbles everywhere!!

I want rid of them both because they're both whining gimps and boring, sh*t clubs.

You're right, Man U's team was weak. Especially in the last half hour when they brought on the 'big guns' and played even worse. They also played a full strength team at Upton Park...where we beat them.

Ah, right...we cheated. You seem to be in the know. Care to clarify what we've actually done? No third party had control over team selection, but there was the option to sell both players in January. That seems rather like a loan deal, don't you think?

Maybe if Sheffield United had played better we might have been relegated instead. Never mind.

Nice talking to you. wavey

They may have agreed to stick together but after what happened the only club that are going to carry on with it are the team that went down..Fulham will as Al Fayed loves going to court but Wigan will go quiet now..

Maybe you should've won a few more matches.

Yeah, then you would have cheated someone else.

Its nothing personal - but West Ham bent the rules...and its costing other teams.

Every single chairman in the premiership signed an agreement saying that no club would fight against each other and that the premiership will decide on any punishement, this punishment would be decided by a 3 man panel that is selected from a possible 15.The 3 men chosen to rule on west ham were subject to all the chairmen saying yes to using them, they could have easily said no we do not want him on the panel but they all said yes we want these 3 to do it..They came up with the fine and that should be it..If the chairmen now want to whinge about it then they are going against the rules of the premiership and therefore are breaking the rules themselves..
If you are good enough then you stay up,west ham and wigan were...

Absolutely, the Premier league followed their agreed procedure and an independant panel imposed a punishment. The rules were followed to the letter. I don't think an appeal by other clubs has any chance of success because due process was followed.

After winning 7 from their last 9 games they deserved to stay up, well done lads.

they are SOME of the facts pal...

West Ham tried to cheat, without uncle Trevor pulling strings you would have been out of the Premier league.

Why is the league better for having cheats in it confused

Was Trevor on the disciplinary committee? Very unfair if he was, totally irrelevant if he wasn't.

We haven't needed Trev (who went to my old school) for years, Tev(ez) on the other hand has been an inspiration.

I took my son (6) to the Brighton & Hove Albion game earlier this year and even he could recognise class. If we had played Tevez earlier in the season we would have finished mid table, I hope he stays for another year.

Totally agree - he is great...

Shame he shouldn't have played.
