Great weekend's golf, despite the USGA's best attempt to turn it into crazy golf on the Saturday. Koepka thoroughly deserved that, good solid golf over the last couple of days. especially on the Saturday when everyone was losing their heads. What a round by Fleetwood though, OK conditions were a bit more favourable, but given no one else got close to that yesterday consider my hat doffed. He definitely has at least one major in him, might be worth a sneaky bet for Carnoustie?
And in my own personal game I broke one of my own records yesterday. I missed the fairway by so much I needed a 6 iron to get back to it A combination of a vicious crosswind and the over the top action I am trying to banish, meant it started right, missed all the cabbage designed to catch horrible slices, missed the fairway the other side of the cabbage and went into the heavy rough the other side of that. Lipped out for par too
Pretty much a snaphot of my game at the moment, fantastic recovery play but still a few issues off the tee....

If you're struggling with an 'over the top' action, have you tried the water bottle drill? It's on Youtube & Is pretty useful. Everything becomes easier when you have an actual obstacle in the way to force you to change your delivery...And in my own personal game I broke one of my own records yesterday.
