Theoretically that’s true. But any chase in a final is often far from straightforward. India are under massive pressure to win. Let’s see how the bowlers cope. They have a very good bowling attack. AUS will probably go hard with Smith and Labuschagne being the glue. India will have to take early wickets I reckon and put the pressure back onto the Aussies to have any chance.

Well India have a very good bowling attack, so it’s still up for grabs. And as I type, Warner is gone - caught by Kohli who curiously watched the first ball of the game fly past him rather than try to catch (or even stop) it.

England failed to get a similar total against India just because they tried to get it in 30 overs not 50. Agnew was losing his nut on TMS that day about how gettable the total was if you just occupied the crease and took singles.

On my bucket list to watch a big game in this stadium. I have teams in India and our account manager I get on really well with, he keeps inviting me over to stay with him. I said I will come and we can go watch the IPL final or something

They are looking confident mainly due to only run rate of 4.5 per over needed and still good batsmans left.
