I use left pocket for loading and right for empties! Bellows pockets aren't the problem - it's more my ham-fisted fumbling.
Thanks, chaps.
I do exactly the same and tbh assumed most right handed guns do this? Thanks, chaps.
It allows you to continue holding the gun by the pistol grip whilst reloading.
Hmmm, not sure I'd ever get on with this. I'm hard wired to reach down right and grab 2.
Photo above from yesterday.
The peak next to the sun on the right is Scafell Pike.
Amazing days

For those interested, there are four of us shooting at AGL this coming Friday.
11am start.
If interested , message me or smithy to get added to the WhatsApp group for details.
We are hoping to do a tour of the big grounds over next summer , and once the date for each is fixed, we will announce here.
The thinking is that it’s a good way for PH clay shooters to get together without travelling miles from home.
Have dropped you a PM 11am start.
If interested , message me or smithy to get added to the WhatsApp group for details.

Might have already been mentioned previously, but would anyone be interested in a PH game day? Maybe a walked up day somewhere with a team of 4-6? could be fun...
I could go for this, depending on location! Probably not this year though, as Lady F is already grumpy about my extensive absences to shoot...

I'd definitely be interested in this if you don't mind a first time game shooter? I've been shooting clays for around a year but not yet had chance with game, so would probably just need a couple of pointers, but I'd like to get involved Turn7 said:

I'd be up for coming along to a shoot next summer if it was more local to me. I'm based near Bristol and only about 10 mins from Lady's Wood.11am start.

^^ Really nice ground especially in the summer. That'd be an nice one to do as a groupAs a few have replied re a PH game day, maybe the first step is to ask what sort of budget is everyone comfortable with? Once we have a rough figure I can ask around and of course check the affordable game days page on FB etc to see if there are any potential days that seem suitable.
Picking up my new Rizzini Regal Deluxe tomorrow, just before two days' shooting in Dorset next week. Its been upgraded with some grade 4 wood and, being a shallow tart, this is something that matters to me more than it should.
Excited! I can use the "new gun" excuse for missing absolutely everything.

I had a Rizzini years ago, must say I am really a Beretta man these days. Enjoying my EELL I bought a few weeks back, had 3 days with it so far and some cracking shots! Kiss of death now...

I'm the other way around. Been a Beretta guy for two decades, and trying Rizzini.
