You're Essex? I am W Sussex, we have a member in York, where is everyone else based who has expressed interest in the PH game day please? So far maybe Northants-ish could be central.
West Midlands / Shropshire (from December) so anywhere central would be fine for me, but I don't mind travelling Turn7 said:
5 PH’ers shot AGL today.
Weather gods smiled on us, and I think we all had an enjoyable shoot.
Nice mix of targets that played to each other’s strengths…
Look forward to more of this with more of you lot next season…

Might have already been mentioned previously, but would anyone be interested in a PH game day? Maybe a walked up day somewhere with a team of 4-6? could be fun...
Interested if localish.Thanks

As you might have noticed, I'm in North Cumbria and I shoot in the Lakes and Northumbria. So I think the geography is against me for a team, PH, bought day.
But it's great to see you teaming up. Enjoy!

I had a Rizzini years ago, must say I am really a Beretta man these days. Enjoying my EELL I bought a few weeks back, had 3 days with it so far and some cracking shots! Kiss of death now...

It's pretty.
Old and new. My Silver Pigeon III does have particularly nice wood on it, to be fair.
Rizzini:
Had a fun day out today in Devon. It shoots well, even if its owner is pretty average! Balance is nicer than the Beretta, which is a sporting spec gun whilst the Rizzini is game.
Shall have both gunstocks refinished to Best London standard after the end of season!
This guy is great.

The Rizzini looks good The link looks good too - could do with my stock being oiled and a couple of small dents taken out so I'll look him up after the season's finished. This guy is great.

At the far other end of the scales is this, which is plasticky, cheap, horribly muzzle heavy and great fun for low going away clays or doing Practical Shotgun (which I tried for the first time last weekend, and loved!).
Its balance makes it pretty horrid for shooting anything at elevation, as do the sights. Very one-dimensional gun, but as so silly, funny to shoot.

Just waiting pick up for a day in Angus (Scotland)
Should be dry with a wee bit of wind.
We’d a day further North on Fri, but birds were hesitant to fly & not a breath of wind. Bird flu up here delayed the placing of birds due to gov restrictions so the birds were a little behind where the keeper would have liked. We were asked to be selective for bigger/challenging birds. Shooting here again in a few weeks & a combination of being more aware/bigger & hopefully a bit of wind could lead to a more challenging day.
