Yup, Sky for me too.

It's getting all a bit tense now although Thomas has just gone off piste from the tee on the 15th
So has Rory...

Finau's not out of this yet, I want Rory to win but if he can't I'd be happy to see the nearly man do it.

I know golf is hard. But Rory is so frustrating.

If he could keep it together a bit more he’d be so far ahead of everyone else. Sometimes he just needs to hit the middle of the green rather than be on full attack mode all the time.

Totally agree, Golf is hard mentally though and he does come apart quite often.

If he had JT's short game he'd be utterly dominant.

Today he's certainly had plenty of JT's short game magic.

When he's on it McIlroy really is a joy to watch - bit of a wobble on the back nine today but overall a well deserved win. Amusing little dig at Greg Norman as well (assume that was who he meant when he said he was longer tied with someone on 20 PGA Tour wins?).

Didn’t really blow up, he was just outclassed and Finau hit an amazing long super fast put on the 18th to perfection to take 2nd, All 3 played amazing Golf today,

Yes, nice little dig 🙂

Final round of the Canadian must have been the dream finish for the PGA Tour… fabulous golf and proper competition amongst some of the the best players in the World… rather showed the LiV Tour up for what it is.

I think so.
Rory & JT had a bit of a chat (over & above the usual 'well done') on the 18th. I bet LIV was the subject, as they will both have been offered lumps - and Rory is quite fired up about rejecting it.

Even if LIV goes belly-up the PGA will have the defectors back in again like a shot, don't see how the players can lose.

I don’t expect their sponsors will be very happy… they are getting a load of coverage now, but they’ll quickly disappear in to obscurity if the LIV Tour can’t attract more top players or decent TV coverage.

Rocket Mortgages dropped DeChambeau when he announced, for example.

They’ll probably make more money out of the signing payment, but it’s not without any consequences. Will be interesting to see what reaction they get from the crowd at the US Open this weekend.

Personally, I think their games will deteriorate pretty quickly when they are only playing a few events and it’s not a very high level of competition… which for someone like DeChambeau, who wants to compete in the majors, will be a problem.

Totally agree with you.

As has been said, if it does fold, will the PGA accept them back with open arms. Or will their be a sting in the tail?

Second round yesterday of our foursomes match comp.
Had to give the other pair 5 shots, we hit 4 pars & 2 birdies on the opening 9, started the back 9 with a birdie as well.
Won 7&6.

It helps when your playing partner is a low single figures & puts everything off the tee onto the middle of the fairway & then chips anything inside 75 yards to about 3 feet.
It's nice when i get to use my experience out of the rough & trees when he did miss the odd one!

I think they'd be certain to because it's the players who make (and sell) the sport and the big names do that very bigly. The PGA might make some token life bans to make a point/save face but it wouldn't be anybody from the top tier.
I'd be amazed if there aren't more defections among those who reckon they could beat Schwartzel (and other LIV players of similar calibre) standing on their head.

Under 3 weeks to go until I play Valderrama.

Currently playing my best golf at the moment so hope it continues, having the sim in the garage and being able to hit 1000+ balls, is really paying off.

Rounds of 77/79 this week with shots left out there, mainly due to the short game (as shown below) had a lesson up at Pete Cowen's place last week, so need to work on this now.

Chasing ball speed seems to have paid off, I'm up to 180-183mph when flat out which is seeing around 290-295 carry. Which even when not flat on the course is seeing 300 easily.
