Otago University is a good university. I doubt that person could point to even the South island let alone Otago.

Every country has it's fools given their five minutes on Facebook. I wouldn't take their death threats against Mr Barnes any more seriously than a five year old truck or treating you with a witches hat on.
Love the way you type in a kiwi accent wink

Evidence please. I've seen nothing of the sort.

You make it sound like we are all baying for blood when I suspect it was nothing more than a couple of 15yo 'hard men' on Facebook.
Note my use of the word 'some'. It was there for a reason. Facebook is full of it. It's really not hard to find.
That cesspit of screaming toddlers is not somewhere I would ever call credible as a representative example of truth.
Quite. The truth had very little to do with some of the rubbish being posted about Mr Barnes. Someone who claimed to be an alumnus of Otago university in NZ called me a 'doushe' when I made the point that some of his countrymen were overreacting. If he could have managed to spell the word correctly it would have been more impressive.
someone made a point on FB, which in all honesty I'd not really considered - is it possible that the result has cost someone a fair chunk of coin? Not, obviously, that it excuses said scummy behaviour in any way, shape, size or form - more a possible insight into it being gambling related rather than a salty Kiwi.

As an aside I see that Sam Cane is taking a sabbatical with SunTory Goliath (I think)

England A making a return, will play a fixture agaisnt Portugal next year.

Good news IMO. Should never have stopped, allows potentials to gain international exposure and if they aim to play fixtures against the so called tier 2 nations can only donthem good too.

Sir Kev is at it again. What a leader, a teammate and a friend. Wish we all had a friend like him in our life. Surely a real knighthood must be on the cards (not sure of the veracity, but rumour is that he will have to wait until 2026, as he was only awarded the OBE in 2021)

For anybody interested, Beep Beep (Rob Burrow) has just launched a podcast called Seven - where asks seven questions of seven sports stars (Seven being his shirt number for most of his career). First podcast ever hosted by someone without control of their own vocal chords - the first one last week featured Wayne Rooney

Great result for Ayr this weekend, I am confident they can defeat Stirling in the final, although the Wolves did manage to surprise Heriots. Hopefully Ayr will be forewarned of that possibility now.

After that game finished I watched the end of Scarlets v Lions, grandstand finish to that one! Having watched the Ayr game with mainly Gaelic commentary, then this one on S4C in Welsh, I think I'll start giving those languages a go on Duolingo, see if it'll help! I wanted to then watch the Edinburgh v Connacht game, but as I'm too tight to pay for Viaplay I thought I might be able to watch it on the TG4 app, but no, seems, the broadcast is blocked for viewers outside Ireland. Which was a shame as that would then have been the third Celtic language I'd experienced in the same day...

Funny what happens if you get the ball along the line (though I still think he was quite lazy in the RWC)

On your bracketed words, I think he only really wanted the ball if he knew he could score, never came off his wing nor interested in making any yards in unglamorous places...

The report into the culture at the WRU makes for interesting reading. What an utter bin fire.

Anybody know what's up with George Martin? Played a blinder against South Africs in rwc semis, not in the 23 for the bronze medal match, hasn't appeared in any Leicester match day squads since returning, but I can't see any news of injury or anything else..?

Struggling with that bloody woman on comms. It's not football, stop screaming down the mic. I know, inclusivity and all that, but stop shouting, please?

At least it isn't Ugo Monye I suppose.

We are getting stuffed. Farrell is a completely different player in his club shirt.
