She had a good win in 3 sets yesterday against Caroline Garcia at Indian Wells - so hopefully the fighting spirit is back in her game

Tuned in quite late to this because I was cleaning the MX-5!
Emma is playing in the Billie Jean King Cup against the Czech Republic in Prague. Harriet Dart playing at the moment, so I think Emma will follow sometime later...
More worrying is, I've just read that she's lost all her toenails (OUCH!) Wrong tennis shoes?! Doesn't look good......!

The thing is with Emma, was before the US Open win she was an up and coming player, progressing steadily like many a young player - Then all of a sudden US Open Champion and everyone wants a piece of Emma, a marketing dream, young lady, warm and engaging smile with great personality.. Since then she has returned back to that young up and coming tennis player, only playing her first ever WTA tournament on clay this weekend...!
So for me, she's back to pre US Open win - trying to progress, but with the worlds eyes upon her.
In hindsight it may have been better had she not won a major tournament until she'd had a couple more seasons on the circuit, but she is where she is, and no one can take away that US Open tournament win...
