Wow, they've done a fantastic job of that! Beautiful putter. Two quick questions:
1) Have they put a copper insert on the inside of the cavity as well? Or is that the "back" of the face insert?
2) Have you put a C-Taper in that as well?

The Masters official youtube page has uploaded every final round's broadcast from 1968 to current.

Mostly my own work. Had the face removed and head Cerakoted, rest is my handiwork. Face is a Spryevo insert from America.

Sad to admit I went straight to 1988, had it on video when I was a kid and our Sandy was the single greatest golfer ever (to me anyway). So many memories - and THAT bunker shot, putt and dance to follow it in.

In which case I'm even more impressed - seen a couple of the guys on GolfWRX do similar with Nike Methods, but they all sent them off to be redone. Mostly my own work. Had the face removed and head Cerakoted, rest is my handiwork. Face is a Spryevo insert from America.
Will be very keen to hear how you get on with it.

Would anyone be able to recommend a decent swing coach in the West London, Berkshireish area?
I see some excellent ones on youtube that use a lot of modern technology and seem to know what they are on about but they all seem to be a long way away.
Pretty much all coaches are using trackman or something similar now unless you get a real dinosaur/traditionalist I see some excellent ones on youtube that use a lot of modern technology and seem to know what they are on about but they all seem to be a long way away.
Finally got some decent weather to get a round in today, playing in the March medal
39 points playing off 12 handicap
8 pars
2 birdies
6 bogeys
2 blobs
A bit wayward off the tee but really good 150 yards in. Just need to bring them both together and could post a very low score. Highlight of the round was pitching it on to the front of a par 4 green, 285 carry. Of course it was followed up with a 3 putt though

I bet that round will help bring your handicap down - or were the blobs real bad holes?
Our course is short (6000 yards) although it is very hilly, most shots are played with the ball above or below your feet so that does offset the length.![rofl](/inc/images/rofl.gif)
One blob was a ball OOB. Ended up with a 6 from the second ball but no shot, so double bogey. The other hole my ball was nowhere to be seen despite it being a fairly straight drive, but couldn't be bothered going back to the tee as the group behind were already there.
I also missed 3 or 4 tap ins so it could have been a very low score on another day but I doubt I'll get cut yet. That was my first competition as a new member

I know it’s not Berkshire, but Lee Cox is in Barnet. He coaches Joe Miller the world long drive champ. His rates are reasonable too. I see some excellent ones on youtube that use a lot of modern technology and seem to know what they are on about but they all seem to be a long way away.

Perfect weather today so went out again, got to make the most of it while it lasts
2 over for 13 of the holes, 11 over for the other 5. Just can't seem to avoid making some ridiculous mistakes every so often, usually around and on the green. But that's why I'm playing off 12
Sounds exactly like me (also off 12).2 over for 13 of the holes, 11 over for the other 5. Just can't seem to avoid making some ridiculous mistakes every so often, usually around and on the green. But that's why I'm playing off 12
I played yesterday AM. Shot 83 (Par 72), missed x2 4 foot birdie putts! I really do need to work on my short game though, its pants. I am useless with anything under 75 yards to the green.

It's my first time as a member since I was 15, so 15 years ago. Properly got back in to it now, having lessons, going the range etc. Target for the year is to halve my handicap to 6 and then same again next year. More than achievable around the course I play at given the distance I can hit it but just need to smarten up on the short game feel which will hopefully come the more I play I played yesterday AM. If South West London is of any use - try Ian Clarke at World of Golf just off the A3 at Raynes Park. I see some excellent ones on youtube that use a lot of modern technology and seem to know what they are on about but they all seem to be a long way away.

I've been working with Ian for around a year and find him a really great blend of using the technology to measure (Trackman, K Vest, pressure plate) but also translating that into how things should feel. I'd highly recommend him.
