What about the TV coverage?

6/10 I give them.

Presumably the pundits are sitting in a studio in the UK somewhere. I find the "going into another room (studio) also decorated in Japanese style to act out some aspect of play" to be toe cringing. It just doesn't work.

Please don't talk over the referee. You can say what you want later, the referee won't repeat what he says.

Why is no one wearing a tie? Why is no one in shirtsleeves? Yes, yes, I understand it's TV company policy to be dressed that way, but it's almost as bad as sky wearing uniforms. 1/10.

It is odd seeing them standing there with a ball in the studio reinacting some of the moves and new rules.

NZ are looking rather shabby!

Massive shame for Fiji this morning. They looked immense until the ran out of puff!

SA are all over NZ right now - how hard are they working to keep NZ in their own half.

If SA can keep this attitude and approach up for this game / rest of tournament, then it's going to be very difficult for anyone to get time to organise their game.

Can Fiji keep this up for another 55 minutes?

I really hope so!
I'm at this point on catch up.

I've got a stack of jobs to do, tempted to stop the game here and go and do them because it's been great to watch and I've got a feeling I know what's coming. hehe

If the AB’s passed backwards, they’d find it a hell of a lot harder...

SA paying the price for not converting possession and territory in to points.

NZ not convincing enough. Some s in the armour?

A fascinating match. I impressed by SA's first 20mins or so. Then 5 mins later the ABs had it all sewn up.

Both teams were class. Have we seen the RWC final?

The matches so far have been a great shop window for rugby.

Dont go much on the anthems of both countries! True not many anthems are good.
The Italian and French ones are reasonably upbeat and cheerful - never mind those when they're played.
One of the greatest disapointments of TV coverage of rugby is listening to the players rather than the crowd when it comes to the Welsh and French anthems (and to a degree the Italian since it sounds like about three different tunes mashed together).

Felt sorry for the Fijians - thought that the aussie in the 1st half should have been shown the red, he was a very lucky boy.

Glad the French won - they won't be nailed on desperate to beat us. Quality drop by Lopez

The AB/SA game was brutal - better SA execution may have won them the game.
