Eubank is a funny one. In many ways he has made disappointing progress as a fighter and finds skilful top boxers difficult to beat.
But I am pretty sure at this stage of their careers he would retire Brook within 6 rounds. Kell would not have the power to hurt Eubank and as soon as a few of Eubanks uppercuts land then I fear he would be done.
A Benn match up is more intriguing for me but I would still fancy the younger guy.

With Benn, I think it would depend on the weight - I think Sky could dangle a PPV carrot which might encourage Benn to fight at a weight far closer to 154lb which we know will be much more suited to Brook. On the other hand, Hearn will be saying to Benn that he shouldn't sacrifice his world rankings when he is so well positioned - I think that argument would probably be persuasive.

Snideness and sarcasm seem to be on the rise in the thread at the moment.
Shame.
It'll die down again in a day or two, once the 'hype' of that fight ebbs away and then I can get back to reading insightful commentary at a more general level, on a subject about which I have no useful input Shame.

Tyson Fury claims he's going to fight Francis Ngannou....with UFC gloves.
Probably more TF BS, but if it happens I can see Ngannou struggling to lay a glove on the big lad.
I think that might be more related to plans for 2023 e.g. fight Whyte, fight winner Usky/Joshua, maybe do a rematch, then "exhibition" fight Ngannou, then retire.Probably more TF BS, but if it happens I can see Ngannou struggling to lay a glove on the big lad.

Should be a good one this. I'm unsure where to put Whyte against Fury, I suspect it will go Fury's way, but Whyte might just make something happen. It will be a good yardstick to see how good Fury really is, I'm not sure that Wilder is a good barometer for that sort of thing. ThisInJapanese said:

"Dillian Whyte signed his contract for $8m, what a surprise," Fury said on social media.
Fury added: "The man's signed for the biggest payday he's going to get in his life."
In a later video on Tuesday he told his followers that he will now be taking a break from social media as he prepares for the bout.
"I'm about to go off social media completely for the next eight and a half weeks," he said.
"I'm going into training camp to give Dillian Whyte all the respect in the world he needs. I'll never underestimate anyone in my life.
"Don't phone me, call me, email me, text me or try to contact me in any way as I am out of bounds until May. I'll be training away. Please respect my privacy and space. See you all at the press conference."

About time this deal was done probably expect confirmation of the Usyk AJ fight now too.
Certainly Fury's most dangerous opponent to date although Wilder really did surpass expectations in that last fight. I'm not sure I see Dillian winning but he is likely to give Fury his toughest night's work yet. Fury on points for me don't see him knocking Whyte out.

More dangerous than Wlad? I don't even think he is more dangerous than Wilder. Wilder v Whyte would be a great fight and I'd take Wilder to starch him. This is a guy who has went life and death with Del Boy twice, had a war with Parker and never seems to have an easy night at the office. Yes he shook AJ but AJ has been shook a few times now, and his biggest win comes over an ancient Povetkin at the second time of asking. I love watching the big fella, and Chisora. They are warriors and are always IN fights, huge hearts, loads of bottle, and I guess that's what makes Whyte dangerous, he keeps coming. But that won't be enough against Fury. Different levels in my opinion. I'd take Joyce and Dubois over Whyte these days, Ruiz would likely box his ears off too. Good, fun fight nonetheless and a great reward for someone who has given us so much throughout the years. Whyte is certainly not more dangerous than Wlad but he is more dangerous than Wlad who hasn’t trained really because he has been flying back and forth from LA to Austria to support his wife suffering with depression and mentally wasn’t present until round 12.fridaypassion said:
Wlad was right in the twilight of his career.
I think Fury resents that viewpoint but knows he was at fault for the rematch not occuring, and he is seeing through Whyte and then Usyk/AJ to ensure his legacy.Do have to say admirable of Fury to keep himself going and seeking to end his career on a high.
