Now that the calypso kings are in the UK isn't it time to start a new thread.

As a fully fledged convict I thought it might be nice to offer our soap dodger cousins congratulations if they are ever required or commiserations when required.

And naturally inspire the usual participants when selection and performance dilemmas arise as they most surely will

I don't quite believe you lot.

During the ashes and the world cup you were all over us for being fairly upbeat about the quality of our team ( you know I'm a convict of course )

Now you have a new team, a new coach and but for Strauss ( a fine upstanding soap dodger if ever there was one ) being a bit over cautious with a declaration could have won a test.

To quote Laura Bingle, where the bloody hell are you

Any humble pie being eaten regarding the earlier comments about Sidebottom?
I always said he was an inspired choice. biggrin

Great effort from him. He bowled very well and deserves all the accolades he gets and will not deserve to be dropped for the next test when Hoggard and Flintoff are back. (As he will be).
When it happens and it will it will signify a magnificent return to form by the selectors, something to bring a smile of contentment to the faces of all true supporters of the soap dodgershehe
