so, wenger and fabregas say he did it with intent, and ramsey and most others say it was just an unfortunate result of a poor challenge.

whats your verdict?

It's not the first time he's snapped someone's leg is it? It's always the less able players that have to charge in and try and get the ball that way, since they cannot acomplish it with skill and finesse.
and i suppose your 10 times the player shawcross is?

if you felt that way, why havent you voted on the malicious side?

an awful, awful injury. horrific for such a young player. I think the whole of football wishes him a full recovery.

as for wenger's comment's pathetic, calculated, Petulant and most probably slanderous!!!! to be honest i expected nothing less....

that is perhaps the best comment on the thread.

Shawcross should be banned for life. Likewise that c@nt Martin Taylor - football would be a better game without these hatchet men. Thugs masquerading as football players.

I'd say Roy Keane was one of the few exceptions, at least he possessed football talent.

Shawcross did what he did, now he has to deal with the consequences. Wenger spouting his usual oh woe is me shyte is one of those consequences.

Yes I am real wink

We'll just agree to disagree.

Would you be so forgiving if it was your legs that was broken?

Thought not.

Let's say next time you're on your bike and some trucker does a SMIDSY and runs you over. Supposed you're going to give him the thumbs up and say: 'Yeah I'm cool. Accidents happen, I'll just put a bandage to repair my broken femur which is in 2 bits. You drive on mate. All is forgiven'.

to be fair, if it was one of those awkward 50/50 jobbies, then yes i probably would be like that.

unlike some, i dont see the worst, or best, in people, i see the facts laid out in front of me.

gutted for ramsey, and gutted for shawcross, but it wasnt malicious, wasnt anything but a badly timed challenge.
