Most of it came off when I got onto the mainroad, but I still needed to give it a wash when I got home.

Rain forecast for saturday, so less dust and hopefully not any mud.

It seemed the wind was blowing towards the first row from the main track through the car park.
Mine was alright til I moved it from the second row then I got it from the car in front on the track. So, if you're going tomorrow & it's dry don't worry too much about polishing your car.

Sure was. The only drawback to getting there so early I guess smile

I'm not sure why, but when I got back to mine yesterday it was one of the worst affected by quite some margin, I really couldn't see out of any of the windows. Some blew off on the way back, but it's still disgusting.

Was in Car Park P which is accessed by a ridiculously stoney narrow track. Even though I was trying to avoid the worst bits I heard the sump pan graunch. Getting out at 5.30 was like being in the Safari Rally and we all had our lights on. Thank goodness for recirculating aircon.... Tough on anyone with a convertible and cars with low ground clearance. Saw a black 458 and a few 599s so I'd hate to think what that track did to the undersides of those. I'm going again tomorrow so will just make sure the windows are clean and then give the car a good wash tomorrow night. Off topic but Plod were out with radar in the vicinity so watch out...

This is disappointing for a premier motoring venue. Goodwood are aware of this, for I told them last year when my car bottomed out...

I should add though that all in all, Goodwood FOS is great, great event. smile. An absolute must for any petrolhead.

The local hand car wash guys refused to wash mine when we got back, it was that dirty. Had to take it to the jetwash first!
