So, the first race is after lunch on Saturday and the demonstration runs are repeated on Sunday. Given that I have weekend tickets I'm wondering what time to arrive on Saturday. Mid morning I think, time to look round (although I'm not expecting anything like the side shows of the Revival) grab a pasty and settle in to watch the first race. Thoughts?
I think I'll aim to be there to see the Turbo-F1 demonstration which I think is late-morning saturday.

Apologies, Low Drag Le Mans 1110 Saturday. Get there 0900, have a bacon roll and amble around for a bit.

I've been trying on and off all morning to get onto goodwood.com without success.

I wonder now that the weather looks like being good if there has been a late rush for tickets?

Theres a thread a few down the main page, MAXIGE has 2 for Sunday as they can't now go, worth a PM to see if they are still available?

I've just been getting my car ready as I have a space in the chicane paddock. Really excited. Please come over for a chat if you see me with the car.

Evening all,

Also looking forward to tommorrow's events, taking my 8 year old so fingers crossed she like it smile

Looking at comments re car parks and may bring a sensible car rather than the TVR!

Heres hoping the weather is kind to us all.

Have fun!

Cheers,
Jon

I just couldn't get enthusiastic about this. I thought I'd get more interested as the dates got closer. It just didn't seem to tick any boxes for me. I'll be watching the various threads to see what everyone's experiences were. I hope everyone enjoys themselves. The weather looks like it will be fantastic on Sunday.

Car parks are drying out pretty quickly, not much rain today but some sun and plenty of wind helping. I wouldn't risk the pride and joy, but will take the rear wheel drive down tomorrow and hope someone will pull me out on Sunday evening if required.

Paddocks are full with lots of very interesting cars. Drivers briefing this evening in The Great Hall was packed with lots of names and faces you'll recognise and the atmosphere is starting to build. The site looks amazing with the Goodwood team putting a huge effort in to get it 100% for the morning.

There is lots for you to see and explore tomorrow, so I won't spoil it by posting anything more.

Have a great time folks.

Evening all. It lashed it down yesterday...was sleet at one point! Really hammered it down overnight. Today has been showery but as Rach says plenty of breeze. Its dry tonight. For info...the Barbour outlet shop down at Gunwharf in Pompey are shutting down with uber uber bargains if you find yourself needing suitable stuff.

Its just luck Ive managed to be down here since Weds for work on expenses smile

And there's me thinking I'd bring the Griff because it would be boring to come in the Volvo and I always bring the Aston to the Revival and MrsB wants a change biggrin
