Had a brilliant day today, got there just after car parks opened and got in first row of Performance Parking. Stayed until 6pm, now thoroughly knackered. It was a great day, nice to feel 'normal' again, and very glad we took spare shoes to drive home in as very muddy from being up at the rally stage and walking down.

Kimera also a stand out car for me.

Anyone going tomorrow, enjoy it!

We were parked just behind this row. Which car was yours Jules?

It was my 11yr old daughters first FOS and she had the best time. Her favourite stand was the future lab. We’ll be back next year! Agree with others it felt odd to have no social distancing restrictions. It took an hour or two to acclimate.

The M1 sounded awesome doing the timed run, Law's driving the hill is a sight to be seen esp in such a big car!
He’s used to throwing the big endurance Jags around, so the M1 would be tame for him.
It was the Jag he was driving and this morning the dam track caught him out, beautiful car and will be repaired and buff out I am sure.

Been thoroughly enjoying the live stream today but jeez that drifting is tedious, what is the point of it ?
Entertainment .

Who can get sideways and nearest to that wall , who can get the back of the car nearest to those barrels without touching them .

I agree drifting comes over a bit chav but how you not be impressed when you get 2 really good drivers doing the tandem drifting ?

The precision from the drift cars is incredible, drifting is not my thing but I can certainly appreciate the skill involved.

Watching the official live stream on YouTube, and there seems to be almost constant tyre screeching in the background of the commentary. Is the commentary box located near a donut area or something?

Mine's the Alpina B5 Touring. Glad your daughter enjoyed it, I've been many times but this is my first for a few years and nice to get back to it and 'familiar territory' for a big gathering.

Roll on next year.

Didn't that happen earlier in the day? I've been watching the live feed for most of the day and I'm sure I head the commentators make mention of it.

edit: Oh, wait. I can see them clearing it away now. Guess another Jaguar was binned earlier.

edit2: Apparently it was an XJR-12D earlier today. Not a great day for Jaguar.

That arrow corvette is pretty impressive .

Disabled driver controls it by sucking/blowing a tube and looking left/right.

Watch the live stream but no idea if I'm actually watching live!

Just amazed by this chap who's driving with his eyes and by blowing into a tube. That's awesome.

Some random jottings from my two days.

1.) Worst. Sculpture. Evah.

I was there on Friday and do agree. I kept watching it thinking it was a moving sculpture (‘I’m sure it just moved’) but no.

I found out this morning it’s an augmented reality one and you needed the app to view it properly.
Sigh, would’ve been good to know that in advance.
Thought it looked like an electricity pylon that had collapsed...I also didn't realise until a friend told me after I got home that it was meant to be viewed through an app...
Had an absolutely brilliant time though.

I know they have a reputation for being very difficult to handle, but that was a very strange place to crash.

And very unlike Justin to bin it, I’m wondering if he had a mechanical.
