Too heavy...plans are afoot. Already changed my Hope V2 brakes (anyone want some by the way) for Elixir CR Carbon's and my Atlas FR crankset will be making way for XTR or Noir. Taking my XTR cassette off my Socom to change it for the XT one, XTR chain going on. May go tubeless...

Pedalling the thing last night (with a SuperTacky Minion DH on the front) made me realise that changes need to be made before the Avalanche Enduro race I entered...for some godforsaken reason!

As it is I reckon it's 32lb.

I think mine is meant to be 24.5lbs (GT Zaskar X), though I have never weighed it.

boardman road comp is about 18lbs - new wheels due soon, nothing else really worth changing to be honest as it will eat into new frame budget
commencal super 4.2 is about 27lbs - havent really thought about upgrades yet but it needs a new pait job as factory paint is st so once that is done it will get some bling...

wavey PM me - I'm looking for some brakes for my Heckler.

FWIW I have Avid Elixirs on the XC bike and they are superb. As for tubeless - definitely go for it. Wouldbnt run a 'decent' mountainbike without tubeless rims now.

RE the weights - Giant XTC pro/team, with Fox Float, ZTR Olympic rims, Avid Elixirs, carbon bits etc, comes to about 26lbs.

My Heckler with a DHX5 coil, Fox 36's, ZTR Arch rims, big tyres etc etc comes in at about 31lbs. Rides great though.

Must be well over 40 lbs, probably approaching 50. redface

Specialized BigHit, 2.7" tyres with thick Gaza innertubes running about 20psi, 200mm Bomber 888 forks, Hope Moto 6 brakes, 203mm floating rotors, braided hoses front & back and some very wide bars.

After 5 years of regular beating and summers in the Alps she's bomb-proof. I'm the weakest link in the chain and tend to fall apart first.

Think my hardrock is about 28lbs. Actually feels light to me coming from a BMX / Free-ride background.

I've got the Elixirs as well and they are indeed rocking.
