Longtime lurker on PH but rarely post, I’ve been dabbling in the world of BMX since the lockdown hit.
Falling off hurts a lot more than it used to 10 years ago but i’m having tonnes of fun with it.
Very cool! Love the seat. Might have to dig out my BMX for some photos...

I’ve raved about mine on here a few times. It really is a great bike. Whether through luck or judgement the Sick bicycles crew designed an excellent frame. Thankfully On One pricing means they’re not too bad value.
Oh dear, they do look good - I like the Sea Foam green: https://www.planetx.co.uk/i/q/FROOHD/on-one-hello-...

Wonder if the Medium frame will be too big for me at 170cm with short inside legs? Might be massive on the reach front!
It has a very slack head angle and very steep seat tube angle (especially for a hardtail) which makes the effective top tube short relative to its reach, so you'll probably be fine for sizing on the medium.

The geometry is obviously designed with ploughing steep downhills as a primary goal. With such a long and slack front end you might have to adjust your riding style to weight the front more actively on tight corners and flatter trails, but the looong chainstays might keep it balanced (if at the expense of agility and playfulness).

I'm speculating from the geometry as I haven't ridden one (I don't think they even exist on my side of the world) but it looks very capable for steep fast downhill and grinding steep climbs back up, but not an all-rounder to be much fun on tighter or flatter trails.

Gave my Kinesis a good spring clean today... I noticed later I got my thumb in the pic, but I'm not getting the bike back out to take more wink

I was going to post a pic of my BMX’s (FBM Gypsy and S&M Speed Wagon) but came across this that i took a couple of weeks ago.
Cannondale Fat Caad, painted in a Klein homage. It even has a Mint Sauce head badge!

Back on my summer bike again for the first time this year. Replete with new paint job. Felt speedy.

That's a very cool paint job.

Is there flake in it too, or is that white 'splatter' picking up the light?

Thanks, I’m really pleased with it. There’s no flake, as you say it’s just the white paint picking up the light.

Bit of jump coaching with the boy today at Dalby for an hour, then went and did some off piste stuff.

Still not a fan of the place in general, but they have finally nailed dixon's hollow mini jump line so handy for coaching.

It was done by Lucia at Velofique. Can't recommend her highly enough.

Check out her Instagram page as that has loads of examples of her work.

'Dale' loitering at Mudeford Quay in between laps at two local BMX tracks. Yeah, yeah, "the proper tool for the job" it isn't, but hey...?

Same three tired old bikes, same tired old rider... hehe
