Crikey. That's slow. No refund and I won't be chasing them up for one. It's just not worth the hassle. Obviously I won't be using them again either.
Yes another big 'thanks' from me also. I christened mine last weekend - and got a good head of steam up at a clear small downhill min roundabout only to then notice a car I had to give way to....but didn't - a wave of apology and a smile back shouldn't have pished them off too much I hope?
Luckily was in my PH logo'd top so assume I was forgiven

Got a smiley Quadri jersey in the post today, purchased from Nagsheadwarrior as it was too small for him. Dead chuffed with it, not sure when I'll first to get to try it out though as I'm away this weekend on a stag do.
I'll take that one off the Available Kit table. Celtic D's too, as looking back through the thread I think that found a new home too. That just leaves Luckey's and mine:Available Kit:

Being white, I have noticed that the jersey gets dirty quite quickly. Changed a flat by the toad side and got some oil and grease on it. Any tips in how to get these off? Washing machine is not getting rid of them.
Oxycet added to the wash or as a pre wash. I do mine on a 15 minute wash and added with washing powder it eats the oil.SixPotBelly said:

Sorry not read all of this thread, but I take it the above two are people trying to swap/get rid? I'll probably take the tempest if it's available just need to know how tight the cut is on it for medium? Available Kit:

It's an aero cut and it's transpired I'm not quite aero cut compatible. When I tried it on it was just that bit too tight across the shoulders. Having said that, it would probably still work for me if I rode in a low, rounded shoulder aero position but I've a high stem on a sit-up-and-beg sportive bike. If you've met Gruffy, he also got a medium and his fits him very well.
The Tempest is like a Gabba: a 3-season, rain repellent, breathable jersey designed for 5-18 degrees C. They were £87.50, which compares very favourably to £130-150 Gabba.
Gruffy gave his opinion on his Tempest a bit earlier in this thread, and for a professional review, Stolen Goat's Orkaan is a re-badged Tempest with the addition of reflective pockets and was reviewed by Road.cc here. Stolen Goat Orkaan Race Tech Jersey

I don't know. My 80kg is spread out over a longer distance It's a properly aero fit on me.
Worth a try as it's such an amazing bit of kit. When it got biblical on the Tour I found it more comfortable (and obviously much more aero) than a jersey and Rapha race cape combination. It must have been saturated because it was just raining that hard but even in 30mph winds I was comfortable. Very impressed with it.

To confuse things, I'm 5'8" and 65kg. The medium would be a perfect fit if it wasn't for my shoulders. I must have coat hangers for shoulders. I take a medium in their race cut stuff, but there's more give in the material in those.
I really doubt it would be too large. If you were happy to cover the round trip postage I'd take it back if it didn't fit (provided it came back in the same condition!)

It'll fit you, I'm 70kg and 6'1", It's form fitting but it's supposed to be that way. If you don't want/fit it I'll step up, passed on it at launch for the non 'gabba' race-proven (same cut not water resistant), which is already my favourite top, adding 3 season ability to it is well worth the extra £20 in hindsight.

Ah ok, maybe I'll give it a go, unless anyone is local to Portsmouth I could come round and take a little look saves the posting all over the show

I've now had an email through my profile this afternoon from a third person about it. I think it fairest to offer it in the order interest was expressed. SoliD, I don't know any Pompey PHers I'm afraid, either with or without a Tempest. I think it'd fit you fine and you've got first refusal, but if you're not sure then I'd like to offer it down the line if I may?
