Which Enduro MTB?
Discussion
I’ve had Specialized Enduros since about 2010, and have had about 7 of them, the latest being a 29er Expert which is the top line Aluminium one, of decontrol reccomend one.
On the other hand, I’ve also had a few Fives in 26” flavour, and I’d definitely also reccomend one I those (presume the 650b and 29ers are just as good)
So basically they’re all good, buy the one you like the look of.

This. Love mine and I can't think of anything that it doesn't do very, very wellGood call. For some reason i thought they were more than that!
The 2018 carbon ones seem to have gone up in price compared to the 2017 equivalent and i think i just assumed the alloy ones would have done a similar thing.

My Kalimotxo CC. Exchange rates have given UK prices a kicking unfortunately but brilliant bikes.

The full suspension stuff is made in Halifax. https://www.orangebikes.co.uk/stories/view/handbui...
Or with Guy Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlIYEdRFQu4
The new (as of last year) owner of Orange Bikes owns the company that supplies them with aluminium.
Hardtails and things like the RX9 are "designed in Britain", made in Taiwan.
Yep. Years ago my old Orange Evo2 had lots of bits that were identical to my mates Merlin MALT (as in Merlin the Preston based bike shop, not the lovely Titanium frames), such a dropouts, brake mounts etc. They had clearly come out of the same factory in Taiwan.Or with Guy Martin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlIYEdRFQu4

I am personally not a fan of the pf bb but some people prefer them. Just a personal thing.

It's is, the hope bike is amazing design wise, just a shame it's front triangle is made from plastic, see photos from today's ride thread with a poor chaps broken 3 week old Yeti. Exactly why I'd never go plastic MTB. Everytime I ride anywhere seriously rocky my aluminium bikes return home with new dents on the down tube and I just say oh well and carry on, just can't do that with carbon. Time and a place for Carbon and it's roadbikes (love my carbon road bike) or on MTBs handle bars and that's about it as far as I'm concerned. If you never ride rocks I can understand people choosing them for the weight saving.

Pedal and Spoke have ex demo Santa Cruz Bronsons available at the mo around your price range.
They're well looked after, barely ridden and with full warranty.
Otherwise a Specialized Enduro wouldn't be a bad shout. Great bikes.

I like the YT but no bottle cage.
