Yes, Vounaki Beachclub.

The forecast before I went was forecasting 3 unsettled days, the reality was a storm one afternoon and then increased winds for a few days which curtailed the beginners sailing.

It was a really good mix of activities and social stuff, I lost my wife back in August to cancer, so this was my first solo trip in 29 years.

It didn’t diasappoint.
My first Neilson was my first holiday solo too.
But since, returned with a new family several times.

Vounaki has a lovely charm to it as a venue compared to others I believe.

Great photos and cycling and sailing - that ticks my boxes

Popped to the city to get bike back from the LBS.

Knocking on the door of 50mph off road is as fast as I have gone, those speeds sound absolutely petrifying nuts

Yeah, I bet the smallest of potholes suddenly becomes the San Andreas Fault at that velocity without suspension biggrin

It's definitely my absolute tree trunks of legs.

GPS was fine.

No you can't check.

My fastest is, I think, about 74kph, and that was also down to the sheer power in my legs and not just me rolling downhill on my mountain bike.

Not a particularly exciting picture, I just love the colour of my bike in the sun

So yesterday’s gravel ride didn’t go so well. Big tumble into cold water, 10 stitches in my arm and a broken finger. Still finished the event though biggrin

Started cycling to work. Only the 3rd time I've done this in 2 years. 12 miles each way. Actually pretty enjoyable! Stopped for a quick photo for the sake of it.

Averaged 12.4 mph. Happy days.

Devils Punch Bowl yesterday, nice 66km out and back from Fleet.

Cannot believe it’s been 20 years without a MTB.

My fastest genuine speed on a bike is probably in the 80-90km/h range (MTB down a big hill on a gravel road), it was before I started using strava so I've been meaning to do that hill again sometime and see what speed I log.

Jealous of the dry, dusty trails! Everything locally is an absolute mudbath.
