I had a really enjoyable day. I didnt go straight onto the trails with the lads as they ate pretty hardcore. I spent most of the day on the fire roads then had a go on a downhill bit and managed to get 3/4 of the way down before i fell off.
We were at the lakes, winlatter which is quite popular.
I do have a bit of a sore bottom, apparently this is quite normal when first getting back in the saddle.

I imagine you have a sore bum because or your saddle angle!

I'm not surprised your arse was sore with the seat at that angle BN!We were at the lakes, winlatter which is quite popular.

What bike is it? Will it keep you off your motorbikes?

Every day is a school day! What's the benefit of a saddle that moves up at the front? More space over the back?
Yes, having the rear of the saddle down out of the way when your stood up going down hill over rough terrain/obstacles/jumps etc. The lever on the bars brings it back up, although this model does come up with a fair whack and can cause you an eye watering moment if you're not careful. The Kenevo is the downhill beefier brother of the Levo Biker's Nemesis said:

I think we've done this here before but in the absence of a useable search function, what's the view on suspension seat posts, and, if good, what are the recommendations?
I got ours when we bought the eMTB Cube Hardtails. Great as far as I am concerned (and I think Chicken Chaser concurs?)It takes the sting for sure and costs a fraction of the Full Susp alternate.
We have the Suntour SP12-NCX. They are not 'light' but on an e-bike, what is?
Only niggle was I was hunting a mouse on my bike after about 1,200 miles. I had squeak I could not trace - until I dismantled / serviced the spring. All is well again !
Would not hesitate to buy again for a Hard tail.

Yeah I was very impressed with how much of a difference it made. I've got no background in full suspension but it definitely took the sting out of a hardtail. It takes the sting for sure and costs a fraction of the Full Susp alternate.

I headed out into the Peak District for the first time on this bike. We did a 23 mile loop taking in a quick circuit of Lady Cannings on the way. The mist and fog spoilt the views and it was a bit of a boggy mess in parts, great fun though. I run mainly in eco as I like the exercise and still had around 65% battery left at the end of the ride.
This was the view from Curbar Edge
And how it would normally look
And the calm before the slop fest

Just ordered my first e MTB today can't wait to get it (couple of weeks) been waiting since April as everything I tried to buy had no stock. (Required Small frame and entry level spec full suspension).
Getting a 2020 Vitus E sommet so might look dated with external battery but otherwise gets good reviews, ridden a few e bikes bit not one of these.

Some issues in the last few days,
My cube acid hardtail cut out whilst me and a mate was at Leeds urban bike park, couldn't get it to start and stay on anymore. Send the information to the trefz warranty dept so I'll await the outcome.
Hoping they send me and the bike to a local bosch dealer tbh, it's under the 2 yr warranty still.
After going out with my mate and his specialized levo for the last 3 months I've finally realised that I need a bike for the job and simply replacing tyres ,bars etc that a hardtail will suffer. (Possibly why the motor fault).
So I've ordered this,
Haibike Xduro Allmtn 2.0 27.5" 2020 - Electric Mountain Bike
I had a certain budget, and this seems to fit the bill components wise for my money, 160mm travel, 500wh (used to 400wh) and Yamaha px2 motor.
I understand looks with the battery are not the best but I'm ok with that, never had a Yamaha motor so any opinions good or bad are welcome.
I can still cancel the order if it's a rubbish bike.
