There were many! I was mainly into DH and FR stuff, but the Trek Y50 was always a list topper.

Other than that I had a big love of Mountain Cycle San Andreas, Santa Cruz Super 8 and Orange Mister White.

and

There have been many spectacular bikes on this thread, and these have been missed, the Yeti C26 is special, so few made.

Where have all the 90's frames gone!

Retrobike.com has some great builds of the stuff we appear to like.

Great thread, really enjoyed reading this, it brought back so many memories. I'd totally forgotten about the GT Lobo!

I always lusted after the Intense M1 SL, preferably in this colour scheme:

Im now on the look out for Pashley 26Mhz to go and relive my late teens.

Yes they are Mugura's. Personally I think they are excellent, these are my 3rd set.

They are the strongest brakes I've ever had. They can lock the wheels completely with one finger braking, so great for trials, but discs have design advantage over rim brakes for most normal riding.

Cool! How close to the magic £250?

I had my dream bike. GT Zaskar. Got stolen within weeks of starting Uni in 1996. Vector forks, FIR DH rims, Middleburns... Sniff. Insurance money got me a San Andreas though!

A couple of people have already mentioned the Klein Attitude in these colours.

There was one hanging above the other bikes in the On Your Bike store in the YHA in Birmingham in the early 90s. I used to go in there just to perv over it a lot.
