JPS inspired?

Very cool looking bike, regardless,
Thanks! Yes, I've always had a soft spot for the JPS livery and since there were a few bits of gold on the original bike, I thought I'd accentuate those and bring them out with a few additional bits.

Now I've got to take it for a spin and see if the aero wheels actually make me any quicker.

It was my nephew's 13th birthday recently, so my brother found this old bike for sale cheap locally, bought it and refurbished it for him. Pretty cool I think.

Love that.

I never find stuff like that. Love a retro bike.

Not really a bike, but unpacked and had my first try of my new KICKR Bike earlier today. 90min session and I know it's a game changer.

Nice! They do look like a decent bit of kit - makes a lot of sense to not be sweating over a decent bike on a trainer!

That KICKR bike looks great. Makes my Wattbike look very ‘last season’ in comparison!

Nice! How long from order to delivery?

When my kickr snap dies - or sooner if temptation gets the better of me - a smart bike will be coming here too. Not sure yet which Wattbike Atom / Wahoo / Tacx / Stages / ... but they do seem to be the best way of handling indoor training

It's chameleon supernova, goes purple, green, blue, copper and red, depending on the light it's in. Photos do it no justice.

Seriously cool

How do you find the sizing compared to the guides online?

I sit between 56 and 58. Replacing a 56 allez with a 56 tarmac to be collected soon. I think maybe I should have gone with a 58 but the reach is fine for me on a 56.

Lovely thing...bargain f&f and wheels on ebay many years ago and then built up with 105 groupset from Merlin.

Disclaimer; I'm no hardcore Roadie, much happier jumping over stuff smile

Super happy with today's pickup. I posted a couple weeks ago with my Rocky Mountain but the original bike I ordered was the Whyte 603v2. Availability was an issue but I spoke with Whyte direct and they gave me 3 LBS numbers as they knew they would be receiving deliveries by end of June. Even though I picked up the Rocky Mountain, I kept my name down for the Whyte for my son. Picked up just now and for the price (700GBP) and as their entry level model, it's bloody good. (Clickable thumb)

Cannot recommend AW Cycles in Reading enough. Great service.

Added benefit is that it is a LOT quieter, so the TV is quieter, so I can leave the outside door open at 5am while on it, which means I don't sweat gallons....!

Ordered Friday, delivered Monday, unpacked & set up yesterday.

I had a KICKR with my older Dogma on it previously, this is generations newer.

I looked at all of the options. The Wattbike is noiser and bigger, plus I didn't find the fit as close. The Stages feels like a spin bike. The Tacx is very good, similar noise level and was a very close contender. In the end, the Wahoo has some cool features, was the the quietest along with the Tacx, the climb/elevation function is a nice to have.....but I also have everything else Wahoo so I know it just works seemlessly.
