Wore mine for the New Forest Sportive on Saturday - really liked it!
Just saw BBC South news this evening. Mention of the ride being "attacked" again by the tack-wielding NIMBYs. Did you see any of the 'Ban the Bikes' nutters while you were out? Jayfish said:

'Nutter in chief' then complained to PH HQ, whereupon I got an email asking what I thought I was doing. The silly old trout had only posted her own address on her own website, though. I'd just quoted it. Needless to say, I was asked nicely to stop antagonising the silly Doris by a nice chap at Haymarket. She then changed to a commercial address on her website, and removed her home address from the public domain.
They are seriously mad though. It's fine for the locals to go charging about at Mach ten in RangeRovers and Mercs etc, but a couple of hundred cyclists puts "too much strain" on the poor forest. And like you say, how the hell can scattering tacks actually benefit the poor horses and cattle which could stand on them, or worse still eat the damned things. Most of the idiots who live there don't even belong. They're all incomers, retirees in bungalows who don't understand the ways of the forest, or it's traditions, but just want to turn it into an inland version of Frinton-on-Sea or Eastbourne, like some sort of pensioner theme park. NIMBYism of the very worst kind
Meanwhile, back on topic, and I've not yet seen one of these new shirts out on the road. You bloody lot need to get out and ride more
I picked mine up Saturday morning after getting the little red slip when I got in on Friday.
A busy weekend meant that I couldn't get out on the bike but I still tried it for size (not a snug fit but comfortable with space to put warmer layers underneath).
Yesterday I wore it to work and on the way back I passed someone cycling the other way that gave me a nod and a smile although I wasn't sure if it was the top or recognition for powering up the hill I had just got to the top of!
Cheers to all involved, I'm sure it will be getting a lot of use this year and if anyone wants to join me in a PH team in the Eastern cyclocross league they are more than welcome.

Were you on a Canyon? If so I think you whizzed by at some point, noted the PH Jersey first and the bike second! Was a fun day.yellowjack said:

First one where a women in a Jeep was driving behind a big group of 50 or so cyclists spread down the road, we caught up to her as she was only doing around 16 mph behind a fairly slow group.
She wound down the window and shouted at me and Usget to 'GET OFF MY BACKSIDE', we were probably around 3 metres back so just ignored her. She shouted something else along the same lines and I think I told her to get over it or words to that effect.
She then proceeded to floor it past a large group passing very quick and close and then pull in just in front of them slamming her brakes on as to not pile into the next bunch. Then proceeded to do this time and time again until she cleared the groups.
Best bit was the two stickers on her rear window 'Pass horses wide and slow' and 'Give horses plenty of room' - silly bh.
Also some old bloke shouted 'Tossers' at us as we went past, I didn't see or hear it but Usget did, totally unprovoked
ETA - to address the balance there were a lot of people out cheering and encouraging people as they went past - very nice to see

I think I still have a brand new and unworn XL from last time, still in packing etc. never quite managed to lose enough weight and stuck in my XXL! In which I hit 43 mph last weekend - well this is PH
Thanks to Slaav I'm currently wearing a new Pistonheads cycling shirt - it looks great and fits well (XL).If only the yellow sections were actually red it would be a perfect match for my bike..
