Dug the aged MTB out. Been doing a lot of road cycling of late. Taking this old bike out is much nicer. It's a 2005 Rockhopper Comp Disc. How would I know what type of new front forks to get? Or indeed if the old one is knackered and unserviceable. It's and Axel something.

I see your cows, and raise you Wales wink

Then, a bit further on, the sort of thing that makes cycling around here wonderful. The A48 dual carriageway is about 40m away to my right and sounds very busy. Meanwhile, this picture shows the exact average amount of traffic found on the road I'm on smile

The Mad Max style post apocalypse world in the music video for California Love was probably inspired by the yard next to this sign hehe

20 mile sunset blast though the local woods on the cx bike. Been doing far too much road riding recently. So much fun to be out on the trails. Even better when they’re completely deserted biggrin

My girlfriend had her first trip back to the trails after surgery on a broken wrist in April - lovely evening for it!

We live in the village in the mid ground - 20 mins ride up to the trail park smile

Threw some narrow tyres on my mountain bike and did a gravel event on Salisbury plain yesterday. Lovely day out and wonderful views from the higher ground.

41 miles off to the coast, around and back for me this morning.

The empty end of Burry Port harbour

View across the flats at Kidwelly, looking towards Pembrey Circuit and Airport

Ferryside looking across to Llansteffan (castle to the left)

Despite the weather forecast being for no rain, I packed my big saddle pack with my waterproof in... bloomin' glad I did!

Found a small bus stop to shelter in from the worst, and looks like the local primary school had been to make sure I enjoyed my stay, despite the weather smile

Straight steerer (1" 1/8th)
QR drop out
120mm (ish) travel.

Welcome to the world of unicorn hunting.

Search for Manitou forks - they do a range of new forks that include your specs…

And from today - started on the road, got bored, hit the singletrack. Which was not the brightest move as it was dark, the trails were wet and slippy and my tyres were at 70psi. Still, made it out!

And some good views across the bush towards Chatswood as the sun came up…
