Dug the aged MTB out. Been doing a lot of road cycling of late. Taking this old bike out is much nicer. It's a 2005 Rockhopper Comp Disc. How would I know what type of new front forks to get? Or indeed if the old one is knackered and unserviceable. It's and Axel something.

41 miles off to the coast, around and back for me this morning.
The empty end of Burry Port harbour
View across the flats at Kidwelly, looking towards Pembrey Circuit and Airport
Ferryside looking across to Llansteffan (castle to the left)
Despite the weather forecast being for no rain, I packed my big saddle pack with my waterproof in... bloomin' glad I did!
Found a small bus stop to shelter in from the worst, and looks like the local primary school had been to make sure I enjoyed my stay, despite the weather

And from today - started on the road, got bored, hit the singletrack. Which was not the brightest move as it was dark, the trails were wet and slippy and my tyres were at 70psi. Still, made it out!
And some good views across the bush towards Chatswood as the sun came up…
