Lol yeh Falco is the brand. Apparently 25w faster than any other super bike! Bs IMO and I wouldn't ride it out of principle smile

Are you riding the national 10? Any idea on time estimates? I think it will be very humbling for many riders just how slow the course is. It looks undersubscribed so I may try for an entry as I'm local.
If I can do 400w at my current level of drag I should be close to the course record of 19.41, so I'd imagine I'll probably just about do around a 19 weather pending.

Don't forget on a climb you'll be generally more upright and thus able to put more power down, but will suffer aerodynamically.
I can do 20-25w more on my roadbike than TT.

And the constant requirement of pedalling up a hill does lend itself to higher outputs.

Well Gabriel Evans only managed a 56:40 off 367 watts on it so shows how slow a course/day it was.
Powermeter is wrong

What you reckon it was likely to be wrong by. 3rd place was also on Strava at a minute slower at 329watts / 4.16 w/kg (on his Strava page) so circa 71.5kg
Probably 20w or so, unless his position is awful, but its not that bad having seen him. He weighs about the same as that bloke you mention there.

Talking of big power, to get a sub 4 hour time at the Ride 100 (13th fastest time) I know someone that did it from 167w AP lol
Don't post that on the RL thread, you'll be seen as elitist biggrin

have you ever ridden on fixed in a TT?.
No, not enough flat courses round here for that! Well, the ones I do anyway.

I think just too high at the front, on a frame like the shiv to get where you are in your photo you'd need a stack of riser blokes.

My bike is small, but it doesn't put me in that position, in fact, many of the fast guys are riding frames too small for them on paper...

Look how far above the top tube his elbow is though, its 3 or 4 times higher than TM in that photo, it doesn't look like it as its not got an integrated stem, but its pretty high at the front I think.

Ticked a minor goal of mine off this weekend gone with a 49.24 on H25/8 which was enough to win by over a minute - was slightly hesitant about riding given someone was killed on the ten in the week, but I've always known that road, and knew that it was pretty rare for such a sad thing to happen so went along anyway.

Just looking at my TT results since the sporting ones and over the last 9 events I've averaged over 30mph by some margin.

I think possibly my time was 1 second quicker than I got.

Who knows, Boyman who I tied with might get given a far quicker time haha!

Good work, that is decent, I didn't do much quicker than that in my roadbike days!

I had a race today on my old club ten course https://www.strava.com/activities/374934447 - I suspected it would be a bit warm from the forecast, but that was super WARM, pleased to manage decent power in that heat and beat my course PB which was a bit soft but all good. I'll be gunning for Hutchinson's coure record next year. I won by over a minute, but that is less of an interest apart from the monetary reward of course!

Not often you do 392W and come 10th lol!

Strong field today at the national championship 10, super close between 6th-10th, fairly happy with my ride but always want more.

They will be, it used to be a pretty popular club course (never opens, I think its too short, or something) but the events have dwindled a bit I think. Its a pretty fast course, not a lot else round those parts as quick, for obvious reasons.

One of the annoying things about strava - I'm now 2nd on that segment because the chap in 1st place was doing a 2 up TT with another very quick guy ha!

Pretty average watts for me today, couple of small hold ups, but owing to low wind I managed to better my PB by 2 seconds, which is always nice. Not many 18's done down in this part of the world, so good to stick it to the boys who only ever do fast times on the Hull course wink

(yes I know my previous PB was done on there).
