Carbon wheels and Kojaks?
Aeroheat rims, marathon+ tyres, Brooks saddle and gripsNot keen on the chunky cf wheel look for bromptons. Also, the bike is for pounding the city streets.
Would love NOV design bits, though.

Is that a normal S-bag, Neil? I've been wondering about getting a bag, but I'd end up using the bag more often than I use the bike!
It's new I think! It's a shoulder bag or satchel. https://bromptonjunction.com/shop/brompton-shoulde...
It's £70 at Evans.

Thank you Does the mount annoy you when you carry the bag off the bike?https://bromptonjunction.com/shop/brompton-shoulde...

Baron, I never even considered the Ti version. I don't think it goes with any of the paint colours I like for the main frame and the price for the small weight saving is silly.
Surprised that the bag mount is wonky; it's pretty easy to see that the holes line up perfectly on mine so a mount should be straight, but that's a QC issue. I'd have taken it back pretty quickly for that.

The myriad of options is confusing. What's a good 'cheap' but light Brompton?
Can you combine those two attributes?
Nothing really about Brompton is cheap, it all comes with a hand built quality premium. Can you combine those two attributes?
And anything you do to lighten a Brompton like wheels seat post or many other bespoke products are ££££'s
You can't even strip them down as most of the parts serve a function.
All said if I want light I'll use my road bike

PS - this is what mine looked like after just two weeks back commuting after Christmas.
The chain pusher was so clogged with grit and sludge it wouldn't shift at all.
Mine is permanently filthy and people at work have started commenting on it now ??. The chain pusher was so clogged with grit and sludge it wouldn't shift at all.
Actually going to clean it today and lubricate the chain. I try and do the chain every couple of months, but I think the bike has been cleaned once since I've had it and I've had it 18 months now.
It still shifts perfectly through. When it's two years old, I'm treating it to carbon bars and new grips ??
