Mine is the performance bundle and I know it can be bought cheaper but I wanted to get it from a shop in case it goes wrong.
Garmin sort warranties themselves. Doesn't matter where you buy it. Steve
Just some bits for the new folder
10 Bottle cage bolts top replace the black plastic plugs on the frame. Got them on Ebay for £2.75 including postage
Chain Gauge. Want to use this to keep an eye on the state of my chains. I'm pretty sure the one on the folder is slipping because its worn out.
I bought a new carbon bar for the folder and I'm not sure the grips will survive being removed from the original bar.
Pads look original on the folder, so I want to replace with insert/carrier versions.
Long term plans are to maybe replace the 11-32 on the back with a 11-28 as it really does feel a bit over geared for what I use it for.
Don't want to go too mad, as I may sell it and replace with a Brompton if the probation at this new company goes well

I'm on my third Edge510 in 15 months. As annoying as this is, the customer service is great as they always send me a new Edge bundle complete with HRM, cadence sensor and out in front mount.
Steve
I bought a Dakota a few years ago for MTB XC rides, had a few issues with maps etc and they were always excellent at phone support. Funny how some other large companies no longer major on customer service......imho decent customer service builds brand loyalty!Steve

Fizik R3... £50 from planet x! They're a couple of seasons old, and I have massive feet (sz 48). Not worn them yet in anger, but tried on and worn around the house and they're stiff as anything (compared to the Shimano R80 that I've had for 4yrs!)
I got my R3s from Planet X.. They're very nice! Just shipped some Fizik R5B shoes back to the online shop as the fit was terrible. Shame as all the other brands offend my eyes. I'll have to buy on fit and then wear oversocks. Any recommendations for bike shops in London when looking for shoes? They all seem to have some of the big brands but not all.

They're bloody lovely! The only shoe that fits me properly, with HUGE amounts of arch support to hold my lazy feet/ankles up, a good heel hold and plenty of volume/height in the forefoot. Everything else, including the much-lauded Sidis, are just plain ste in comparison.A shame they changed the shape of the last and chickened out on the sole for the current shoes.

They look identical to my Whyte grips but I can't read what's written on the lock ring in your pic.
Many people have tried mine and left inspired enough to buy their own. They're truly superb.
The ones fitted to my Tern Folder are BioActive, but they are quite pricey at £17 a pair, so I've gone for LifeLine items at £8 a pair Many people have tried mine and left inspired enough to buy their own. They're truly superb.
