To be honest, Pauls Cycles have a 2013 105 model for £850 which is madness given the framesets are still going for £650, for anohter £200 you get the rest of the bike thrown in!.... I liked the spec upgrades on the Ultegra model though as it has the cannondale si chainset and (obviously) full ultegra. It comes with Aksiums which I may well sell, in fact if it fits I'll probably sell the Cervelo too.
All depends on the fitting now as I went with a 54cm whihc just felt a little better than the 56, it was a little more compact but the 56 felt too stretched with the stock spacers etc so removing those would only exacerbate the problem. Hopefully i can get the 54 to fit with a flipped, dropped stem and some seat attention. The amnusing thing is i dont know what colour it will be, could be the all black version, could be silver and red...
Isn't silver and red only the SRAM Force one? Ultegra is all black or black, white and green I think. I paid the equivalent of £780 for mine, but without wheels and tyres as I didn't want the RS11s and Luganos it came with, the FSA chainset was the only bit that put me off a little but it seems to do the job fine and after a big ride this weekend it's clear my legs are the weak link, not anything on the bike! All depends on the fitting now as I went with a 54cm whihc just felt a little better than the 56, it was a little more compact but the 56 felt too stretched with the stock spacers etc so removing those would only exacerbate the problem. That at looks like a horrible saddle. Completely flat at the back??
No, it's swept up at the back, so you can lean into it when gurning up a hill without slipping off the back. The flat wings also have some flex, bit of arsuspension(tm). Perfect for my singlespeed mtb, it allows a bit more climbing seated before needing to engage 2nd gear (ie standing up). Also a hollowed out central bit. It's incredibly comfortable for me and matches my Ergon GP2 grips too. I like Ergon design, seatpost next I think.
Thanks again Neil for sending me it

Bought an exposure tracer rear light, looks like a decent bit of kit and crucially my oversized thighs don't hit it when I'm riding like that do with the wider cateye one its replacing!
Also got the more sturdy exposure front clip for the Joystick as the one they supply is ste.
My Blaze MK1 rear light has been delivered to work today apparently, so I'll collect that when I get there in a couple of hours. I was torn between the TraceR and the Blaze but, I thought "POWEEERRRRR" (in Jeremy Clarkson voice) and went for the Blaze. Looks mental! I mainly want it for the epic run time at high brightness. My Moon LX70 is more than bright enough but the run time isn't good if I'm out for longer rides. I often like to run a rear light even when it's reasonably bright early in the mornings just because drivers are tired and a bright light gives you that extra sense of being seen. Also got the more sturdy exposure front clip for the Joystick as the one they supply is ste.

Having had a blast with the tracer last night I can't see that I'd ever need brighter, longer batt life a plus perhaps, but its very bright indeed.
There's very little difference in brightness between the 2 (75 lumens for the tracer and 80 for the blaze) but the blaze has double the run time in each mode. My moon light is 70 lumens max and certainly bright enough, it really is. Cheers

I've killed my TraceR 3 times now. Water ingress every time, despite ensuring that the seal was properly seated and using grease in the port.
Great whilst it worked though.
Not sure what the best way of stopping water getting into the port is, other than closing the rubber seal. I'm not sure whether grease would interfere with the charging port? Maybe something similar to a squire of wd40 on and around the port would help protect it? Great whilst it worked though.

This was as supplied and recommended by a man in the know. It baffles me that it is possible to design a torch to be used by divers, but still companies produce bike lights which stop working due to a bit of spray. Locating the light on the centreline directly in the line of the spray off the back wheel is also not hugely sensible. If I thought about it I'd just get a mudguard and stop the worst of it.Cateye Volt 300 front & TL Rapid rear light.

Evans price matched a random website (Brilliant Bikes) down to £59.99 for me. The TL Raipd rear in particular looks bright. Hopefully they'll last and serve me well.
