I was pretty sure I was going to replace my Cube Agree GTC Race with another Carbon bike but this time a more aero one with either deep wheels or Di2 but I saw this at a bargain price so I had to have it- It's pretty much the complete opposite of what I set out to buy!!

If anyone can recommend a decent disc wheelset upgrade not more than £600 that would be great as the Mavics on it are pretty heavy.
A set of these @ £285?

After fallen out of love with my previous winter bike, a Giant Defy Advanced 1 disc due to the bike specific mudguards rubbing great big holes in the seat stays (all replaced under warranty) I sold it and replaced it with this.

Yep, saddles and brake levers seem to be a problem for people!

Gratuitous photo of the bike sans front derailleur etc. Bike is so much quieter as a 1x drivetrain and lighter too, but most importantly looks rather cool too wink

The latest addition to the stable smile It fought me ever step of the way on being built, but got there. It looks a bit clown bike like, but its a 19" frame on 29er wheels. Yes I know I need to sort out the seat angle before anyone moans, and I need to go through a final fit and test ride.

Looks nice, CD. Will it be taking the Tuscany Trail with you this year?

Yes, but with bouncy forks, they're not 100% needed for Tuscany but do make the gravel nicer and the final leg is rocky.

However, its also in question, as I have questions over whether I'll be fit enough. As you'll have noticed from Strava, I haven't ridden much over this winter (went on a downward spiral after the wet experience). They have also cut the registration down to 6 weeks or 500 people as its the most popular Bikepacking event globally, so I'm playing the waiting game. If I feel Ok and get miles in by the end of Feb and there is space I'll go.

I've also committed to the 5 Countries Tour in late August, which I really want a good crack at. Its 1100KM in 7 days or less.
