I'm a UK 9 1/2, my Northwave's are an 11 (45). They have plenty of support, I bought them large so I could also wear my Sealskin socks underneath. No problems with them moving about.

I know some road cyclists like a fight with motorists, but boxing footwear is a step too far.E65Ross said:

Another big Wednesday ride for me this morning. Unbearably hot even at 4:30am. More hills and more speed than previous weeks.

Coffee, Coconut macaroon and a slice of pizza that I carried in my jersey pocket all morning...

Got these through today, have yours arrived yet? They're a tad on the big side but if I wear my THICK winter socks they seem fine so that'd probably ideal. I'm guessing these are Windproof as well as waterproof? Begs the question whether you'd need overshoes, unless it's really cold out!
There's space to wiggle my toes with some very woolly winter socks. I'm going to make a decision in the next couple of nights, I might try and find some 47s though.I can't see me needing overshoes with them, they were pretty toasty.

Loving the heat, although I am a wet mess by the time I get home, never sweated so much !
It does feel like we've had a proper summer this year... I quite like the heat when cycling, but it can get a bit much without air flowing over me at 15 - 25 mph, depending on wind direction.Quite misty this morning.
Annoyingly my eldest son woke the house early, so I bailed and did a 28 mile commute instead of the normal 9. I need to wait til tonight to upload from my Garmin, but definitely >20mph average speed, so very pleased with the ride.
I also lost my most prized of all my KOMs this morning, but a quick look at the whole ride the guy did suggests he averaged 58mph up a Cat 4 on the A380 dual carriageway. So I flagged it!
