Git!!!! biggrin I’ve a 2 month wait for mine!
frown so after unboxing there is a small (pin head size) chip on the top tube, being a black bike it shows.

As much as I want to ride it this weekend it's going back to be replaced cry
That's a shame, hope the team in Chessington can get it sorted quickly.

They've been great, no questions, offered some money off or a replacement. (Anywhere else apart from on top of top tube and I'd have taken the money)

I had that when I got the F10 in March. Every opportunity I had it was pissing it down so it stared at me for 3 weeks until I finally got the take it out.

Needless to say, it was worth the wait wink

Worth an enquiry to Rob Hayles at Re-Carb - they work magic with carbon repairs. re-carb@outlook.com

Thanks, Canyon have confirmed it's only cosmetic, as much as I want to accept, for the money I want a perfect one (for my first ride anyway) rolleyes

His finish is perfect.... Friend damaged the fork on his Dogma. Rob repaired it, he expected to see the mark/repair. Even knowing where it occurred, none of us can even see the mark, even looking closely.

Totally get the desire for a perfect bike....but I guess it depends if the cost to repair is sufficiently lower than the money Canyon will give you back.

Here’s my Cannondale Supersix Evo.
Didn’t use it much last year due to doing a lot of running events but managing to get out on it a bit more recently.Upgraded the wheels to Ksyrium Elite UST and now with Fabric Scoop pro saddle.
Nice responsive bike but actually pretty smooth too.

Two to report.

Here's my S5 now it's fully built with (11 speed) Red eTap and my Vision wheels. I went for a spin with a fellow Cervelo fanboi so we got a picture. I'm in love with the Magic Robot Gears.

And here's the one I'm really proud of - before and after.

It's a 2014 CAAD8 - bought for £180 as a turbo slag, but I couldn't waste the R8000 groupset which came off the S5. And then various bits came up cheap on Facebook Marketplace so it has a Cannondale C1 stem with integrated Garmin mount, K-Force carbon bars and seatpost, and a Selle Italia Flite Flow saddle. Oh and bar-tape which doesn't harbour bio-weapons. It weighs 7.9kg without pedals, and since it's now 11-speed I can drop the Vision wheels straight onto it if I want to take it off the turbo and out for a blast.

I'm worried I might like it almost as much as the S5...

What’s wrong with the stem?

Left hand bike? There appears to be 20-25mm of stem above the headset?

That's the steerer tube. The stem is the part that links the steerer tube to the handlebars.

Agree - it needs cutting down though!

My bad, sorry yes, steerer tube. Even more inexcusable if not the new bike. wink

Mine's the other one!! I don't need to cut my steerer because I'm too fat and not flexible enough to slam the stem...

Picked this up second hand last week. It’s like brand new.

Looks fantastic! Definitely doesn't look like it's ever gone off road.

I'd route the front brake hose through the inside of the fork leg just so it doesn't get caught up on anything.
