An old colleague of mine who lived in Streatham would ride from home down to Gatwick and then up to the office in Westminster each morning.

Usually come screaming through the car park and pull a big swinging endo into the bike sheds. Then a power wheelie through the gate on the way out!

Nice one, like your style

I walk about 10 meters. Traffic on the landing can be tough in the morning, but at least the roof means the weather isn't an issue.

Bet it takes longer if there's a jam near the toaster hehe

32 miles each way - trying it one way for the first time on Wednesday.

Unless I can think of a good reason not to.

I used to do ripon to harrogate (about 12 miles door to door) to work and back, then about 30 miles in the evening when i got in .. then my cycling buddy and i would do 100 miles on the sunday .. those days are long gone hehe

these days i can just manage 16 miles home from chesterfield to ripley in the summer but rarely cycle through the winter these days ..

i tried going to hathersage the other sunday (was particularly windy which was a shame) .. and it about killed me hehe .. geez i must be old.

18 miles each way. About 1000ft of climbing each way.

Pleases me when I do it in less than an hour (not yet this year)

Can't do it every day as I leave the car at work

Do I get the prize for the flashiest commuter bike?

17 miles each way, mostly flat along the Southern bike path (Hove to Goring), sometimes getting the train back if my legs are sore, usually towards the end of the week.
