Folding tyres???????????
Discussion
Sure this ones been asked a million times!
Whats the difference?
Just ordered some nobby nics from chair reaction and the reciept e-mail says "folding type" and i'm not sure if I want them or the normal round type??
I have a scott genius and am getting these to offer 1.8" and less rollong resistance as I ride 50% on road and 50% fire trails etc (thetford area too)
Thanks for help.

Been out at Thetford all day on the new "folding" tyres. It became blatantally clear what folding meant as soon as I opened the box
The Nobby nic 1.8" tyres I got have made a huge difference to my bike, its much faster to accelerate and much less tyring to ride. (eta. this may be due to me getting fitter over the last 2 weeks!! Not ridded for 6 months before that)
Definatly worth the £60 investment in a pair if you do a bit of road riding as well as off road.
