Finally rode the G-Spot for the first time on Sunday at PORC.

Although too big for me (I'll keep a look out for a small) it's still a very capable bike. It's not the new G-Spot but one of the original bottom bracket pivot ones.

Very strange feeling with the rear suspension though. It felt like the wheel was really digging into the ground, in a good way. Certainly very different to the (excellent) Hustler - although there's only an extra 10mm of travel. The G-Spot rides just like the Stiffee. This is no great supprise though, as they share almost identical geo and the Hustler shares that of the Handjob & Hummer which are [North Shore] XC bikes.

Looking forward to our uplift day on Good Friday at CwmCarn where I'll finally do the road drop, maybe, well the sun was low and conditions weren't right etc....

As for the coming Summer. I think I have the right two bikes for three months in Morzine - the Hustler and the G-Spot.

PORC? Well, there's definately potential there for a very, very good mini DH / skills centre. Resources seem to be the main problem but they are heading in the right direction. Rogate is better and Leith Hill and Holmbury offer more 'riding' (ie no pushing up) but I'll happily go back to PORC.
