Yep, carrots and sticks. The carrots are showing people cycle maintenance whilst the sticks are lurking in the park.
Got pulled for briefly hopping onto an empty path in the park itself (as did the following cyclist, and the hundred after that I should imagine). Rather like shooting fish in a barrel but if that's what Plod have been ordered to do by therevenue collectors law enforcers then so be it.
Not advocating jumping red lights or, indeed, any form of rule breaking; just a friendly heads-up to anyone else coming that way. Would hate for Plod to be bogged down with any further unnecessary paperwork on such a lovely sunny day.
