Tyres---pointers please
Discussion
OK I'm new to all this latest tyre tech, and I am looking for something that appears to have become a rarity, an "all surface" tyre!
My fun route is just over 6 miles and really does encompass all surfaces 8" long grass, hard packed aggregate, sand, mud and clay, dry or wet, not to mention tarmac.
OK I'm not too bothered about wear rates/high rolling res (I'm trying to regain some fitness ) but am keen on tyres that provide traction and grip on the loose surfaces whilst proving to be stable on the road.
Any rough ideas of brands/types ?
Just now, on old Panaracer's of some type, labels gone. Very, very good but on their way out wear wise and splitting sidewalls.
cheers
