Hi

Did a search for this but didn't find much.

A friend and I are thinking about cycling John O'Groats to Lands End at some point next spring, which shall give us plenty of time to prepare.

There are lots of good websites to help with the planning of it, however, I wondered if anyone on here had done it?

We were thinking of aiming for about 12 days this averages out at around 70 miles a day which sounds feesable (we are both around 25).

Want a team of at least 4 people to make it safe and share the burden.

So good idea or just stupid...?

this quote came from a girl in our office as one of our colleagues is doing LE to JOG, she replied with

isnt it uphill all the way?
Haha! What an idiot? Is she attractive though? She sounds like rather perfect bait...

There's quite a few threads on it if you use the search term LEJOG. I've not done it but there a few on here that have.

For more information than you could ever want to know, the CTC website has a sub forum just for LEJOG. Grow a beard if you're going to venture in there though. wink
Yeah I have spotted CTC so think I will buy their pack.

Thanks for the tip.
