Slightly off topic here but will grandstand tickets be available on the day or is that a pretty big no?
They normally are but if the weather is good then the que starts to get them at about 7am on raceday...Also alot are pre-sold in advance so you get to pick from whats left.
To be honest its great to hear people thiking about what to do when they are there other than worrying about the weather
So how many people from here other than us that go no matter what, will be going now the weather 'looks' good?
I think now really is the time to support the sport in the UK after a dreadful season of not finished races, flooding, and terrible weather, lets get out and show everyone that it can be fun and everyone has a great time

dunno, but im going thursday morning first thing no matter what the weather is doing!....id rather sit in a wet tent for 4 days with the chance of seeing some racing than be sat at home and miss something. besides, ive got half of crazy horses to read still, lets just hope it doesnt rain and i dont get the chance! Also alot are pre-sold in advance so you get to pick from whats left.

I will be trying to recruit new spectators. If the weather forcast remains as good as it has been then this will be a perfect weekend to get new people interested.
You don't get people hooked if their first experience is one of a rainy bleak day at the Pod.
Oh I don't know, I've been to Santa Pod probably 40 times and my first experience was cloudy, frosty and intermittently moist. You don't get people hooked if their first experience is one of a rainy bleak day at the Pod.
Other times I've been literally roasted yet I've gone back for more again and again.
The biggest issue now is if it rains, you get wet.
What they need is some sort of covered shelter, would be quite nice at the end of the track maybe?
