Sure was some great racing in very un-british weather, watched on www.eurodragster.com
One of the highlights for me was Rene Jaspert´s "Blue Thunder" BMW, he has been building this car for over 10yrs,
swiss Eggenberger straight 6 engine never gave much problems but his "must use BMW drivetrain" attitude cost him years, nerves, and €€€,
as clutches, transmissions, diffs and driveshafts were all shredded when traction was decent.
2 years ago, he put a Liberty trans in, and a Strange axle on 4link, now he can start tuning chassis & setup.
My guess is that you will see him more often @ SPR, I hope he gets himself & the car back in shape for NitrOlympX.
SSBs were unreal, 216 top speed wtf, ProDutch PM team were awesome, and the track seems to get better & better.
