AR- what's next for the NSX? Are you going to build a GT as close realisticly possible?
Btw, why use the 5spd over the later 3.2 6spd for the base car?
I am hoping to add a functional scoop and lexan rear hatch when I upgrade the engine in the near future all under bonnet ducting is there.Btw, why use the 5spd over the later 3.2 6spd for the base car?
As for the 5 speed 3.0 car is simple, non pas, OBD I so is easier to tune and a the earlier cars ( pre 95 ) are also lighter.
BTW the NA2 NSR-R uses the 5 speed clutch.

Which does bring your taste into question...along with your manners! Now be nice...we're an egalitarian place here, people rubbing their money/cars/attitudes into others' faces doesn't go down very well...
So you have a "pop" at me then I am the one with bad manners...As for rubbing anything that is a non sequitor. All I ask was some respect as I respect anyone elses choice of car. You on the other hand have decided to attack the my car and the NSX-R GT. Why can't you just be happy not liking it and have to keep having a go at it? As for money, I only mentioned that the NA2 NSX-R is beyond most people's reach, even those with the money to buy it as there was only 200 made.2) Respect? On what grounds? What have you done to earn my respect, and why should 'respect' preclude an honest opinion?!? Really mate, you need to take a reality check...
3) "Have to keep having a go" What?!? I made one comment that the NSX-R GT wasn't IMHO the best-looking NSX variant, and I'd rather a more normal one, and you throw your toys out of the pram! You seem to have a real insecurity about your car...and you shouldn't. If people don't like it, that's up to them - it's YOUR car. But that won't stop people commenting...it should only stop you being bothered by what they think...which brings me back around to point (1)...
So take a chill pill. If I jumped down peoples' throats every time I got a 'hairdresser' jibe about the S2000, or a 'torqueless' jibe about either of my Hondas, I'd pretty soon get high blood pressure and probably sin-binned! So I don't, I let people have their opinions and I then go out and enjoy MY cars.
IF however you were posting up expecting lots of "oohs" and "aahs" and general ego-polishing, then IMHO you've got what you deserved.
Finally, for what it's worth, the NSX is very likely to be my next car to replace the S2000. I've a lot of respect for them and if you've owned three then you're a lucky chap.

1) I've not had a pop at you at all - really not sure where you've got that one from. I've commented that I don't much like your car, but that's not having a pop, that's just personal opinion. If you've modded your car because you want others' to like it, then that's pretty naive and pretty sad. If you've done it for yourself, then why do you care what others' think?!?

I care very little about what you think, you could think that my car is a piece of junk, and that is your opinion. To actually voice that opinion to me however is a lack of respect and a different matter. I wonder if you got the intestinal fortitude to voice your opinions in such strength at car meets and to perfect strangers face?
I seriously doubt it, or you would have learned that “respect for others choices” lesson already. Sadly it is too easy to hide behind a keyboard and attack people’s choices.
I have many car friends, many prefer them standard, others lightly modded and some extreme, yet we all respect our choices, many of them are NSX owners.
Good luck on your NSX search, once you find yours, it might get rid of what I suspect the sour grapes.

I disagree on the first point - modding cars is an individual past-time...and I don't like what you've done. And yes, I'd be quite happy to tell you that to your face. If you can't deal with others' opinions then I suggest you either grow up or shut up...Good luck on your NSX search, once you find yours, it might get rid of what I suspect the sour grapes.
Sour grapes? You clearly don't know me at all...
Cheers,
M.

If you have anything else to say is an e-mail link on my profile.
After all it is about posting Honda pictures not giving your opinions on them.

Easy chaps.
Will ultra lightweight wheels and appropreite suspension components be on the cards for the NSX? I'm assuming the latter will be a compromise between aesthetics and function?
Hi mate, the suspension is OEM with NSX-R Chassis reinforcement bars and ARB. Best compromised for UK roads. The wheels are quite light at the moment VR TE-37s. On the pictures I posted the car looked higher as it had just come off the jacks. Will ultra lightweight wheels and appropreite suspension components be on the cards for the NSX?
