As previously advised, the fuel tank is 47 litres
see "capacities" section of the actual vehicle specification from Honda:

It does say that and hopefully that is the capacity, but that same page also says the car has 4 usb ports 2 front / 2 rear when it only has 2 in the front so they're not infallible, the concern is it may have the same tank as the hybrid civic which is just 40 or so, that's certainly how the range indicator is looking and I've yet to get 250 miles out of a tank. I'm looking forward to Cadwell park with mine in a couple of weeks and I think it will need filling up at lunchtime, as at 10mpg it will do about 100 miles and a typical Cadwell day is 110-120 miles. see "capacities" section of the actual vehicle specification from Honda:

I think it's all a conspiracy to normalise the poor range of electric cars by handicapping petrol ones with tiny tanks!
Unless the range, and fuel gauge is configured to show ‘empty’ with 10 litres left - the tank in mine is NOT 47 litres….
Ran it to <10 miles of range and got about 36 (plus change) litres in…
My guess is 47 litres is a typo (R!).
Looking at the rest of the handbook - there are many and some very funny ones… so I’m not surprised.
Also - it’s not a big deal.
Until all the forecourt’s are electric anyway….

FYI. I posted on a Type R from and this was the general consensus.
‘The tank is about 12.5 gallons. Honda is conservative with thier warnings to prevent people from running it completely empty. Usually when the range hits 0 you still have about another 20 miles available, but it depends on car and MPG.’

Thanks , makes sense, 12.5 US gallons is just over 47 litres and Honda quote 12.39/12.4 on the US website. I'm going to run it as low as I dare this week with a fuel can in the boot! ‘The tank is about 12.5 gallons. - I've had a few out of fuel situations over the years from an Austin Metro courtesy car that ran out with the needle nearer 1/4 full than empty! To a Mk3 16v Gti that ran out coming down a hill on the west coast of Scotland which should have been fine as there was a petrol station at the foot of the hill - but as I coasted in I found it had shut for good 3 weeks before! to be fair to the car it had been showing a range of two dashes for a while and I just hadn't realised you could be more than 20 miles from a fuel station in the UK!
For anyone still on the hunt for an allocation, there's one in Guernsey at only £42K , which is way below the mainland prices new or used, seems too good to be true, so I suspect VAT and first registration fee etc would be payable if brought back to the mainland and that would make it nearer 52K.

Yeah I do wonder what the general plan Is with Honda UK and the deliveries, my dealer said they can't even get the standard model Civics for a while.
So first impressions are how solid it looks and wide. LOVE the seats and very pleased with my colour choice. Pictures don't do It justice and the fact Its got the transport spacers still in the front springs.
Red Type R mats and Boot tray are on back order until 12th March. My dealers first CTR customer is still waiting for his carbon bits he took delivery Jan, for the record I'm there 2nd allocation. I've opted to take the car as is so I can have it detailed Ceramic Coated not going for PPF..
Hope you don't have to wait too long mate. Keep us all posted be nice to hear/see your progress.

Definitely missed the boat here but thinking could be the perfect daily antidote to the year of boredom that has been the Macan…
Presume cancelled orders are being reallocated centrally?
Can anyone recommend a dealer if I just stick my name down and wait it out?
Other option could be wait it out a few months until could pick a lightly used one up around rrp

There’s a used black one on AutoTrader for 50k, doesn’t seem too bad considering the impending price hike to 49k. Presume cancelled orders are being reallocated centrally?

My local dealer has 16 deposits, so that doesn’t bode well. It’s all done through the dealer network, but in my experience it’s not necessarily first come first served - good luck!
I’ve had a mare with my dealer, Honda U.K. and dealers are not good at this sort of thing. Best just phoning around and seeing which one gives you the best vibes. It’s highly unlikely you’ll get one until end of year now as most who were put off by price have now pulled their deposits, so assume the remainder actually want one now.
I’d be surprised if HUK get any further allocation this year and it may be 24 until others come in. The 3rd allocation is soon to be in and if that is still 1 per dealer that will bring the total numbers in UK to over 600. HUK said it would unlikely have more than 1000 units over entire production run. Coupled with the ongoing demand from US and JDM orders it would be surprising if more come in this year.
If yer genuinely interested speak to a number of dealers and don’t be afraid to travel. Obviously dealers will have varying levels of interest
